Did the millhouse always have that much greenery or is that new?
EDIT: Could be just the angle of the picture.
New. They painted moss and added vines.

Looks post apocalyptic

It took me way too long to realize scaffolding is down here - as of the 29th from photos I have. Great photos, as always!

It does look pretty. The "mountain" has been de-emphasized in this makeover, but the area now looks like a bayou.Looks fantastic.
I think it is perspective for the boat passengers, night time should be cooldumb question but why are some flowers raised out of the water and some arent?
Real water lilies very often grow that way. With stems of varying heights, some only appearing to float on the surface while others extending well above.dumb question but why are some flowers raised out of the water and some arent?
The water looks so beautifully blue in the concept art. At some point, someone made the decision, "Nope, we need to go poop-brown instead."Real water lilies very often grow that way. With stems of varying heights, some only appearing to float on the surface while others extending well above.

There's still plenty more greenery yet to be installed around the lilies too.

And the ugly temporary fence remains untouched. Oh WDW.
The whole thing should be. It looks terrible and isn't needed at the California park.Is there any chance that food mural on the fence is temporary? Please don’t come to Disneyland.
Oh come on, doesn't it make you hungry for the tasty Louisiana cooking you get at the end of the ride? Oh wait...Is there any chance that food mural on the fence is temporary? Please don’t come to Disneyland.
I hesitate to post this since I actually don't agree with the saturated blue in the render looking good (nor is it accurate to what bayou water looks like). I also strongly suspect the brownish tint is the result of there being a lot of sediment from the construction work done and will eventually filter out and turn a more clear or greenish hue once the ride has been running for a while without the construction going on (it will also reflect the sky more when that happens). But I REALLY wanted to make this edit-The water looks so beautifully blue in the concept art. At some point, someone made the decision, "Nope, we need to go poop-brown instead."
