I don't hate that one, to be honest, but it does make me think of Christmas! This one I quite like!

Never a bad thing in my opinion!but it does make me think of Christmas!
I’m a fan of the yellow, but i am very biased because the inside of my house was painted a similar shade of yellow for my childhood and most of my teenage years.I have a generally good opinion about the ride - but oh boy - why is that yellow so ugly to look at? It decimated the mural! So out of place...
Yes, they look like they could be from The Land pavilion back when it opened in 1982 more than from 1920/30s Louisiana.
Edit: I see from the post above I was not the only person who got that vibe!
“crates of Beignets” was mentioned in early original descriptions of the ride. If the imagineers learned that beignets are loaded up in crates at the salt mound and then sent down river to New Orleans by way of hollowed out logs I’m pretty sure the whole fact-finding mission was spent on Bourbon street lol.The crates are filled with empty salt shakers and we all know what’s in those barrels…
I remember that discussion! It wasn’t as bad as other versions. I just mentioned it because it changed several times in a short period for reasons that were not clear. It was discussed here.
Still, that doesn’t excuse how bad the Tiana posters are.I disagree. These signs break theme quite egregiously:

The words on these posters makes me think the speculated theme of the ride is going to be “you were the missing magic ingredient all along!” isn’t that far off the mark. From the site we don't say- New Tiana’s Foods posters are up on construction walls-

Thank goodness they will get to use “You Are the Magic” as a finale again. The words on these posters makes me think the speculated theme of the ride is going to be “you were the missing magic ingredient all along!” isn’t that far off the mark.
My immediate thought is to compare this permanent work with the temporary but absolutely spot-on period graphic work Universal does with the tribute stores. Big difference.I really wonder what is going on with WDI's graphics department recently. They seem to have lost the ability to create graphics appropriate to different times and places:

looks like a grocery store, this is just getting bad. We lost one of the best attractions to ever grace a themepark, aside from mansion...for this drivel. The whole direction of this project is just bad.I’m still optimistic for the ride, but these posters are really ugly and do nothing to evoke either the period or the feel of the film.
I am on board with the redesigning of the ride, but I just do not understand some of the boneheaded moves Imagineering is doing...like these new posters that have zero connection to the correct time period. It's almost like there was never a film that established the style, time period, and setting that should have been followed bringing the attraction to life...
We are lucky we didn't end up with Tron set in a 19th century Italian bordello and pasta factory.
They had one job. It's almost like there was never a film that established the style, time period, and setting that should have been followed bringing the attraction to life...

They're so modern.I am on board with the redesigning of the ride, but I just do not understand some of the boneheaded moves Imagineering is doing...like these new posters that have zero connection to the correct time period.
I disagree. We’ve heard some very promising things about what they’re doing with the ride itself. The whole direction of this project is just bad.
Why the sarcasm? You know I’m referring to the abundance of animatronics and lush scenery that those with insider knowledge have assured us are coming. The backstory stuff doesn’t excite me either, but there’s no reason to pretend it’s the totality of what’s happening.Yes. For example, I’m so pleased that Tiana will have unionized employees at the checkout at the end of the ride instead of self-checkout like the competitors.
Are you a Tiana Co-op Club member yet? Their Thanksgiving sale for members is incredible. 3 for 1 gumbo!
