I have to say that I liked ToN the first few times I saw it, but after a while it got a little old. The performers didn't have the same energy, the puppets starting breaking (one time watching it, I saw no less that 2 puppets break during the parade), and then making it ToD just didn't seem to work very well for the most part. IMO, It was nice for the Millennium Celebration, but I think they should have stopped it at the end of 2000. It would have been better and far less depressing than seeing a good parade slowly die.

I agree with Stitch Rocks on this one,

Tapestry of Nations and/or Tapestry of Dreams were by far my favorite parades ever to appear in WDW. The night versions were especially magical. I have never been so entertained!

As has been mentioned, the Music was absolutely spectacular--probably one of the best produced compositions in all of Disney Park History...I was really sad to see it go.

I'm a little ashamed to admit it, but I never really cared for the Tapestry of Nations/Dreams parade. :(

Especially at first, when it launched from 3 locations at once. Trying to avoid it was nearly impossible. It seemed like they roped off the whole park and people like me who didn't care to watch it felt trapped and unable to move.

The costumes were nice, but I would have liked them more if the cast, members who ran the giant puppets were hidden from view.
It seemed rather silly to me to see these giant figures and then when my eyes moved downward, there was just employees with giant sticks making the puppets move. Sorry if any castmembers who were in TON read this and are offended. I mean no ill will.

I DO however Love the music from Tapesty of Nations. I have the music on CD and play it often. :sohappy:

Parades

I have to agree, I love the Disney parades but TOD or TON I thought was the worst one. Never liked and neither did the rest of my family. Compared to the other parades I found it quite boring. But again, that's just my opinion.

McDonald's...Market place fine....but in the parks and that huge one on whatever drive it is I hate. I go to Disney to get AWAY from that stuff.

Leave a legacy boulders. Ruined the view. Plus it jams up foot traffic.

No more Vault Disney on Disney channel.

Why is EVERYTHING gear'ed toward's kids ?

McDonald's. I hope it burns down.

SNS, that's an easy one for me. Coke does'nt run a commercial every 2 minute's or have store's every 3 miles. I'm just sick of overkill. And it's not just McD's, if it were BK or any other fast food joint my complaint would be the same.

Ok, but in the parks, Coke advertises more than any other business I have seen. They got the Coke Billboard at MGM, the giant coke bottle at MGM, The giant Space Ship in Tomorrowland, All of the Kali queue is Coke Coke Coke everywhere. Ice Station Cool is all Coca Cola aswell. And we wouldnt have Dinoland without McDonalds. The fry carts are not that big of a deal. That giant McDonalds gets no business anyway, atleast everytime I go by there, I see maybe 3 cars in the whole lot. I dont see the fry carts as being there forever, but I hope they do stay, cuz its good.

Removal of the Golden Horseshoe!

Ok, I'll admit, I haven't been there to see the new show....but come on, its a character show. And its replacing one of my favorite things at the MK! Seriously, I heard that they did it because it wasn't getting enough attendance...yet every time I went to see the show it was packed!

Golden Horseshoe

That's the reason they closed that? I don't believe it. I go off season every year and I have yet to be able to get a seat to watch the show. I can't beleive that's the reason they gave.

Then whatever you do, don't move to Atlanta b/c it's Coke haven. HQ is here so they've got a near strangle hold on the market here.

Someone mentioned DINORAMA? :hurl:
