I would say seeing the "See Ya Real Soon!" sign, but I think it would be worse getting sick and staying in your hotel room while the rest of the family goes out to tour the parks. I hate leaving, but missing half of your vacation would be worse!

Being sick would be the worst, because you could potentially miss out on your vacation. Even if you lose pictures, you still got to experience it. And the last day of vacations are sad - but I'm always excited to get home to see my pets & get photos developed too.

This sums up my worst day at WDW.. leaving! (and being consoled by DD)

I picked that the worst is last day and having to leave. I always have to keep repeating to myself not to cry over and over waiting for Magical Express. That lump in the throat and pit in the stomach is awful.

Getting sick at WDW is a very close second and really may be the worst. I was sick at WDW once and it was so bad to think I could be on rides and enjoying the parks but instead I couldn't leave the resort. I hope that never happens again.

Every time when I leave and have no idea when's the next time I'll be able to come back. I get very sad going through the gates to exit the park. Although the "See you real soon!" (I think that's what it says) cheers me up a bit, haha.

you are missing one...

the actual worst feeling is that YOU ARE DYING TO GO TO WDW and can't because of finances. that you almost feel desperate, but the dollars don't make sense...

that's the WORST FEELING.

Checking out..SNIFF...on that last morning...SNIFF...going to the parks for a short time, then heading back to the hotel...SNIFF...rolling those bags away from the bell desk...SNIFF...and getting...on...the..bus....SNIFF, SNIFF...(cries incessantly).

The only thing worse than a day away from Disney World is a day LEAVING Disney World!

So, by the way...for those choosing "getting sick or injured on vacation": Isn't that still a lot better than getting sick/injured BEFORE going on vacation (if it prevented you from being able to go)?!

I know that I'd rather be on a stretcher in WDW than at home!

Being ill or injuried couldn't think of any thing worse. At least when you realise that its the last day of your trip you can look back and think about the fab time you have had and the planning starts for the next one :animwink::sohappy:.

NO it is NOT better being sick in WDW then at home, if your sick at home it's like oh well, gotta get better, if your sick in disney it's like TORTURE. It's like not eating for months and then someone holding a DOLE WHIP FLOAT right in front of your FACE! It's down right EVIL to get sick in disney, all you do is just crawl into a ball and want 2 DIE b/c theres soooooo much magic all around you that you can NEVER experience on a normal basis......but yet, you cant experience it either :dazzle:

Also since I only live 2 hours away, it isnt so bad leaving, b/c anytime I want I can just drive up for the weekend :king:

im sorry for bragging now i feel bad :(, but maybe that's why leaving isnt as emotional for me as above

DH had severe anaphylaxis to some kind of food he ate on our second day:eek:, and my epi pen was safely back at the room:brick:. he also hit his head pretty hard when he passed out. After leaving the hospital, he was ready to enjoy vacation, and I was a nervous wreck the whole trip, waiting for it to happen again.

The same trip we stayed @ SSR instead of the Epcot area, and while it was a beautiful resort, we were sad and disappointed that it wasn't Boardwalk or BC:(.

Leaving is sad, but you just get to start planning the next trip:sohappy:

BTW the staff at Florida Hospital Celebration was VERY nice during a bad time. Kudos to them!
