1)The trenches weren't trenches that was expensive Zolt rockwork their buddy
2)That is what you quoted basically - going back to the whole not everything needs a physical model to be built which delays the design process and adds $millions onto the cost.
3)You have a designed coaster from the firm who makes the coaster. There are no spinners, two maters aka the whip ride a CS two M&G locations and a shop.

They cut all the huge figures of the characters around the land to pair back the costs, and tinkering with the design of Slinky still...

Not a fan of the cuts...but am I the only one thats okay with the figures getting cut? I saw TSPL in Paris and thought it was crazy tacky. Not a fan of the slinky cuts though.

What was mentioned to me is the whole SWL location could have moved earlier this year to facilitate faster construction. I still can't verify it, nor can I trust on the other hand the edge of a piece of concept art from another project.

It's a mess.

I think I have given up trying to guess how this is going to play out. I am going to try to just sit back, watch the permits and wait and see what they reveal.

That would make total sense. Also reduces how many attractions are closed.

If they do put SWL in the LMA area I wonder where they would put construction trailers and staging. SWL and TSL would take up the fast majority of the space back there.
I believe you said it would make sense to build toward the front of a construction site and work your way back. I guess we will know something is up if they make an announcement regarding the Indiana Jones Stunt Show.

Plenty of possibilities. Honestly, the area is large enough, they could put it in between the two projects without it being in the way; or the area where Premiere theater was; or maybe the grass area east of the park (where the new access road is going).

Another big question is when will parking lot construction start or is that off the table? There's no way that lot can handle the crowds after the expansion is done.

I guess they could squeeze in the staging, but 14 acres for SWL is going to take up a lot of space back there. The revised permit for turning the wetlands into new parking is still waiting approval from the South Florida Water Management District. The new parking is also dependent on the construction of the new retention pond since the earth excavated from there is going to be used as fill for the parking area.

Key question. Is stuff happening behind those construction walls today?

I find the timing of all these events compelling.

Will Muppets basically be surrounded by Star Wars then? I can kind of see how this is sorting out, and I think I like it better. Nearly everything I truly loved about this park, the stuff that made it my favorite, is gone or will be soon, so now there's no choice but to look forward to what's coming and hope for the best.

Maybe ... maybe not ...
