The Spirited Sixth Sense ...

It was a movie released in 2001 with a smaller budget than the subsequent movies in the series. By 2014 CGI standards, it doesn't look so great, no matter the method of projection used.

I am aware of budgetary concerns and the year the movie was made. My reply was more geared towards flynnibus saying the look was due to being watched on an LCD.

UGH!!!!

You disappear for a little Spirited Spring Break and your thread becomes a Marvel foamfest. How MAGICal.

You bois do know that you can meet Captain America up the road at IOA, right? Same place he's been for years ... before he was on the DCL or out in Anaheim.

Now, I could wade thru 37 pages I have missed (again, no one likes these threads at all, obviously) or I could start another thread telling you a bit about my Spring Break (not to be confused, thankfully, with my upcoming Faux Top One Percent Spirited Spring Holiday) that you may find interesting, illuminating and/or entertaining. I think I'll go with Option 2.

A special hello to my special lurkers. I see you!!!

This is a very good article and I hope people actually read it

Excellent, I loved the last line... "Anyone old enough to remember has to miss the days, not so long ago, when rampaging beasts roamed Hollywood and the action behind the scenes was as dramatic and improbable as anything on the big screen."

Just watch the last two episodes. Please do not torture yourself with the pathetic Lady Sif episode. There was an episode that explained what happened to Coulson, but that was a horrible letdown.

All you really need to known is that Skye was almost killed and brought back to like like Coulson through some special formula.
I seen a lot of the LadySif one and honestly.. it was a snoozefest.
I think they tough they could improve the series by using the "hot girls battling hot girls just for the sake of it" formula.

pretty sad imho.

The idea of DPHS has been looked at and discounted a few times over the years, with the potential exception of using it for back of house. That option would require UO to front the cost of building an entirely new campus to replace it, though. With the way the property is being used currently, there's no need. The other property down Universal Blvd however...

question.. since when the series started to be good? so I can skip most of the dumb episodes and start seeing the good thing.

As soon as that happens, I'll let you know. But I'd count on it getting cancelled first.

(Tuesday was probably it for me. A chance to re-invent the show, really shake things up. Instead all it did was point out the plot holes in Cap 2 that I'd been too busy being entertained to notice in the theater. I have to believe anyone who argues this episode was "good" has never watched F/X, or HBO, or AMC ... or even Arrow on the CW.)

Plot holes?

Are you really upset that they asked you to suspend some disbelief for a comic book movie?

You may not want to ever watch a comic book movie ever again. That was a great one.

Oh I loved the movie, practically fist-pumping coming out of it.

But watching AoS, bored out of my mind, it gives you time to focus in on the dumb even for a comic book nature of the villains' plot/backstory. Things I just went with during the movie because of all the action.

I called ESPN earlier today. My Insider account lapses on my old "bad" id on March 30th. I've got DisneyWorld.com evidently moving off that account pending a response from the Website tech support (that was my phone call to them today). My concern now is that I'll lose the 7 movies I have linked to my Disney Movies Anywhere account. We shall see.
If anyone cares, the Disney Movies Anywhere tech support fixed my account. I had to call ESPN, DisneyWorld.com and Disney Movies Anywhere to get everything consistent but I now only have a single account linked to my e-mail address. Tonight I was able to delete the user ID I created back in 2002 for ESPN Insider.

When I called, they were also able to add "Up" to my movies account by reading off barcodes on the Blu Ray packaging. I could only get the iTunes version previously. For future reference the number is (855) 347-3722 for Disney Movies Anywhere tech support and they're open 8 AM - 8 PM CST Mon-Fri.

Better than I thought. But once again the time from announcement to opening day (whenever that is) really deflates any excitement this attraction had for many. Technology in other attractions (non-Disney included) have surpassed the "wow" factor of this technology.
