All that said, man do I miss Publix. Been over 5 years since I left Florida for DC and I still can't get over how lousy DC's supermarkets are. Safeway, Giant, Harris Teeter...none of them even comes remotely close to Publix.

You left out my favorite -- Shoppers! The ones I used to frequent in College Park and Hyattsville...ugh.

They're like the Six Flags of grocery stores -- or, more accurately, they're the grocery equivalent of the nasty gum-covered wall in the roller-coaster queue at Six Flags. Awful.

Spirited Tuesday Musings:
Any opinions on BICE at Portofino Bay? Despite staying there numerous times in just the last few years, I have never dined there and am wondering what folks here think.

I was a big fan of Delfino's so I was a tad annoyed with Bice being the Newbie. For Italian its prices were over the top and I had visions of the debacles of Epcot Italy. One bite of my veal and all was forgiven. It is expensive but worth it, especially if it is a rainy night and you are staying at the Portifino, it just adds to the ambiance. It is a pretty venue but I am a sucker for the Bay at night anyway and the service was spot on which is something I cannot say about many signature restaurants on theme park property let alone the food. So a thumbs up from me.

Enjoyed Flash a lot again tonight. It really is just what an enjoyable comic show should be. Unlike that Shield crap that Marvel fanbois try and force themselves to like.
I was wondering how Flash was. I'll get around to it. Currently enjoying Season 2 of Arrow, so Flash should be a logical next step.

SHIELD...gets better every week. Blacklist continues to amaze. Walking Dead is looking good.

Of course, but in terms of John's political capital he wasted it on a ride that would not work as intended.

There's nothing wrong with trying to bring back a Flying Saucer kind of ride. I actually admire that Imagineering still has a division that tries to, you know, actually engineer their way out of problems.

The problem was the story concept. Tony Baxter actually said it best on that podcast, "There's nobody in the world who has ever dreamed of riding a flying tire."

I also think that while In 'N' Out Burger is good, it is highly overrated too

I only contribute on here when I've got a trip planned and now that I have I can say that In 'n' Out Burger has just recently opened a restaurant (I do hate the term restaurant for a fast food place) in North West England where they are passing it off as cuisine that you'd happily pay the equivalent of $14 for a burger for.

Taylor Swift, got to say I'd never heard of her until a couple of weeks back when she put the highly irritating "Shake It Off" ear worm in my head, having said that though I saw the accompanying video and I must say she floats my boat. No doubt she'll be pleased about that news, I should imagine.

A quick question, Disney Cruise Lines, which is the best ship going out of Port Canaveral? I've got my three year old coming and a trip to WDW as part of a winter holiday is not looking like the place I want to visit anymore, which is sad.

But I'm liking what I'm seeing from the Flash on the CW.

I know, not a Marvel character ...

I agree. Flash looks great so far ... but I have to voice my pov on MOAS. I know you pretty much wrote it off last year (admittedly, things looked bleak mid-season last year) .... and it might seem to those that walked away, an easy dog to kick considering its produced by ABC. But ever since uprising, the show has been firing on all cylinders and this new season is no exception. I haven't seen last night's episode yet, but I watch it regularly and find it to be a great improvement over the show we were getting 10 months ago.

Want to bust on a super-hero show that seems to be riding the formulaic, ho-hum, SSDD death spiral? look no further than Arrow. It had such promise -- especially right at the end of season 1...but it's almost unwatchable now.

All of the wonderful DCL ships have differences. You should go to the DCL thread on this site and you should receive great answers and advice. Then choose. Most of the year you only have two choices as the two classics sail from other ports most of the year. Bon voyage. This time of year we are lucky to have all four ships for brief periods.

Are you sure it's this In-N-Out Burger? I couldn't find anything online about any locations in the UK except for a one time pop up in 2012. Not to mention one of their hallmarks is very low prices - here in LA burgers range from $2.05 - $3.40.

As for DCL, I'd think the Dream or Fantasy would be preferable, as they're practically brand new.

We're on a DCL cruise to the Western Caribbean in January, on the (newly refurbished) Magic. Which was still very nice on a 4-day cruise to Canada a few years ago....

I suspect it's not the same chain - I've never heard of I-N-Out opening any international branches, but they'd be insane not to consider it as Five Guys has become huge in the UK in little over a year.

4-nights on the Dream to the Bahamas is a good 'WDW-substitute' one.
