The Spirited Seventh Heaven ...

Hell, I went into Rebels thinking it was going to be utter garbage (the animation is) due to the teaser trailers rubbing me the wrong way, but was actually pleasantly surprised by it (only saw two episodes though and there's still room for improvement)...
Well, Rebels has a smaller budget then Clone Wars and I think they're still working out the kinks of their McQuarrie inspired art direction. It looks okay in wide-shots, but not so much when you're getting close to the characters.

Did you take any pics? I'd love to see what it looks like.

That's what front side of spaceship Earth looks like these days folks.

Clearly, all the righteous indignation over maelstrom is much more important then how the classic park icon that defines Epcot is displayed.

Poor lighting that can relatively easily be fixed is hardly the same as dedicating most of a World Showcase pavilion to an American film. You're continuing attempts to discredit EPCOT Center fans are just getting silly.

Ick! Just Ick! That lighting is terrible. When did they perpetrate this travesty in the name of conservation?

ETA: My photopass CD has a much better picture than that.

Honestly, I don't remember. I know the question was asked here back in the day. It could have been on WDW Today, it could have been on here, it could have been Jim Hill.
What part is the tall tale -- seems to me like JH getting tossed from a park due to an unauthorized tour is pretty widely known. The part about LM getting away with it because he has a state travel agent license?

Yeah, the LM /state travel agent license is the part that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. It's really been the only explanation I've heard.

I'm really enjoying Rebels. As a big Star Tours fan, I was thrilled that
half of episode 2 took place on a Star Tours cruiser and had a cameo from RX-24. Hopefully he'll be back again soon in a larger role.

Why haven't the Epcot fanboys gotten off on the righteous indignation of the biggest problem in the park? The new lighting sign using the LED on the front side of spaceship Earth.

John Hench is flipping over in his grave. It looks awful. It's not even. It's not aimed properly. How can they allow this to happen?

Know where any pictures are? I'd love to see one.

EDIT: Never mind, just saw the previous photo requests. :)

I must say American Horror Story is particularly twisted this evening. Appears one of the Giggle Gang went a titch off the rails. This is why I hate clowns.
The premiere was good but I have to wonder if that clown is actually part of the freakshow or not...

There is a hard ticket after hours event that is absolutely NOT sponsored by Disney.

Just because it doesn't say "DISNEY" and isn't an officially-sanctioned event doesn't mean whoever does run it doesn't have friends somewhere in the company. Just like has been speculated about re: Mongello. I alluded to this in an earlier post when I said some events are allowed, others are not. It's not clear-cut one way or the other, people on either side finding a single example to support their argument notwithstanding.

Speak of the devil, I'm not the only one who doesn't like Iger's obsession with stock buybacks.

Here's an interesting read.

The author would like to see higher dividends. Fair enough.

However, perhaps there's someplace else some of that excess cash could be invested, perhaps some place that's sure to provide the company with strong cash flow for decades to come? ;)

Just a notice to anyone reading stuff on this site. If ever you see one of my posts that contains a "spoiler", feel free to open it up. You have nothing to fear as I know absolutely nothing about any upcoming movies, attractions, bathroom, lunch snacks or changes to anything that isn't already common knowledge.

A spoiler from me probably means that I had something extremely sarcastic to say and snidely did it via a "spoiler" tag. I should probably title my spoiler... "Nothing to see here, feel free to browse."
See what I mean, Vern?
