That's a good question. I always believe in sending any real feedback to the decision-makers and powerbrokers at a given corporation. Believe it or not, but about 90% of the time you wind up speaking to people (or conversing via email) at those levels. Most folks don't have the desire to actually engage people. (As an aside, calling directly to Georgie K or the EPCOT VP of the Day etc to complain about Malestrom or entertainment cuts or anything isn't going to get your AP revoked or you banned from property for life or a visit by the FBI unless you threaten the people).

If you have concerns with UNI, then I'd reach out to the people who run the resort and their overlords at Comcast.

I don't need another screen-based thrill ride at UNI. I wish they were doing the original JP jeep ride on that expansion pad instead of Kong. I doubt very much that I'll enjoy it as much as the original, but hoping they surprise me.

I think you make a great point. I think many feel that if they do so they will be marked by Disney somehow someway if they speak up and go to the top. Granted its not all that easy sometimes to get through on the phone to those levels either.

It kind of makes one wonder whether it was strategically planned to not have a Frenchman announcing this. Gas just left so recently, they must have known at that time what was going to be announced and when.

Hmm ... that's interesting to ponder. But Disney does like to shuffle people around ... by the time SDL actually opens Gas may be somewhere else.

But also Tom was responsible as the "fixer" of DCL, if memory serves me right the first couple of years of full operationof DCL was a complete nightmare, but I may also be mixing up DVC -up or DCL -up

He was part of the mix, but so were many fine execs, not the least were Matt Ouimet and Tom McAlpin.
Now, it's such a well-run operation that a trained monkey could run it. oops, forgot about Karl ... my apologies to trained monkeys everywhere.

Speaking of which, do I have ANY interest in three movies about Obi Wan Kanoodle? Um ... nope.

what!? If there was one saving grace about the prequels it was Mcgregor's take on Kenobi and I know your probably too kewl for toons but his story arc The Clone Wars cartoon series was probably the only time I was actually gripped in the story and felt any emotion from any of the Prequel products.

To tie a couple of threads in this post together, the aforementioned Lou did an apologist episode on the Orange Bird awhile ago, and quite frankly, it rather angered me. His basic stance was, "Well, since they re-recorded the song with Disney cast members, it's all okay now." Maybe for him, but not for me. It saddens me because I (just barely) remember OB from my childhood, but I can't look at him without hearing Anita Bryant's voice, and "Anita Bryant like Anita hole in the head". You don't need to be gay to find that woman sickening and despicable.

Lou needs to help move thousands and thousands of units of new OB merchandise. ... If people knew the history, then many wouldn't buy. Some might even get some media attention by going after Disney for using the character when they keep Song of the South in the vault.

I remember growing up in cold Boston and hearing Anita croon about ''Come to the Florida Sunshine Tree ...'' wonder what teenage future Queen of the Kingdom (it's a joke, I know the man .... relax!) George Kalogridis thought about Anita and the OB. He was right, though ... it gets better.

Me?!?! Too kewl for toons?!?!

You don't know me at all, Neo! :-)

But I have no interest in Clone Wars. My Star Wars fandom began and ended with three films that came out between 1977 and 1983.

Star Trek. ... Well, that's different ... hell, you might even say it's personal.

I know you are new here and all, but fifth gate talk on any of my threads usually results in a nocturnal visit by my minions and they carry large bats (no, I am not referring to part of their anatomy):D:devilish::cool:
I figured that talk of a fifth park was mostly bad on these boards lol. I don't think it should come until they finally fix up their other parks and after Disneyland in California and Tokyo Disneyland get another park. Walt Disney World has too much space to use and not enough smart people running the operations.

If it helps any, at least I am in SoCal. And it is indeed beautiful.

I know ... and I know. ... Although I did see you had some typically hot as hell Santa Anna weather a few days ago. BTW, I was going to get in touch with you and see if you wanted to meet for a drink (or multiples) on my last trip west, but I had my SO 'Angie M.' with me ... and she is very obsessive over me (I don't know why as she can do much better!) and doesn't like to share. She also does weird stuff like putting butter on a perfectly fine pretzel instead of mustard, so I thought another time ... :-)

As I type and post this, I'm on the hillside deck outside my den drinking Pinot Grigio and watching the Halloween Screams fireworks go off above Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom for one of Disneyland's Halloween parties. I just toasted the SoCal climate, you @WDW1974 , and your contributions here! :)

I have never seen that pyro show. The ONLY pyro show in Anaheim in the last 15 years I can say that about ...

And glad to be here!

(But I'd rather be in Anaheim right now too!)

I can respect that. The prequels were garbage...but I still want some Kenobi movies

That's such an ignorant statement I don't even know how to comment back...destroying the earths ecosystem might not be a big issue for you, but it is to some people. Not that it's a huge topic of debate for myself, but it is a valid point. I just find it odd that a company trying to go green is gonna waste tons of trees each week...that isn't being green or Eco friendly at all.
So, let me see. Disney bought all that land out there in Florida and built around all the trees, plants and grassy areas?

Disney created that ecosystem, not nature. It isn't changing anything at all natural ecosystem wise.

I am still amazed that Disney allows this to happen. $179/person...are you freakin kidding me? They are seriously letting him do the last tour after the park closes.

He's paying a fee to 'rent' parts of the park. Anyone with $$$ can do that. You can bet he profits off any WDWRADIO.com events, though.

But giving tours during operating hours when you can be mistaken for an employee is a whole 'nother story. And no matter who I ask about him, they simply pass the buck or say ''I have no idea ...''

I don't for a second believe that Leanne and her crew at Celebration Place don't have a full legal document listing what Lou can and can't do versus others.

I can tell you that if Disney knew I was going to be at DAK on a given day and met a group of 10 fanbois and started pointing things out that I would be followed if not out and out harassed or tresspassed (I tend to think the latter wouldn't happen because ... Georgie does know me and just a bit of what I am capable of when provoked).
