Again, Disney has been so quiet on details that it would be very easy to simply say that the boat ride is 'a possible future expansion' and leave it there.

Is it more than just a coincidence that Cameron comes out and confirms there will be more than one ride just after the rumors about the boat ride being cut started heating up around here? We know Disney people read here. Maybe Jim does too

Agreed, I don't like the guys podcast or how he carries himself but this was such a silly reason for a pile on. My favorite are all the white knights that show up defending the ladies. Seriously Im sure half of them made their own hot princess jokes in the past and the other half only have an eye for the princes..

So, if the posters were in fact gay men they couldn't speak out for women's rights or feminist issues? Good to know.

Also I've seen the posters here get on Ricky's case for far less, going as far as to photoshop him into "jokes". So it's amusing people will defend him here.

I wish I was under 25! No kids though, so I realize we aren't the target demo for DCL - still, it was the most boring 7 days of my traveling life. Hopefully in the time since we took a DCL cruise they've improved their offerings. We were on the Magic, so I don't know what the new ships are like, but even still, I think they're way overpriced based on other premium lines.

I am sorry to hear that. I honestly have never heard anyone else ever tell me that. I love sailing to begin with. I, obviously, have an affinity for Disney entertainment. I have never been bored on one of their ships. I'm just guessing that cruising may not be your thing.

They are definitely overpriced on average, but deals can be found ...usually on the longer cruises or in months were cruising isn't great. I'd expect to see deals for cruises in August, for example.

That is true, no doubt.

The word I heard was that Sony's date happened to fall into a period of Marvel spring saturation with Captain America and X-Men films unspooling basically at the same time. Too much Marvel product in a short period of time.

It made me scratch my head in wonder when I saw those release dates so close. Also I have heard really great things about X-Men... I'll have to check it out. Maleficent however... Dud.

The film will be ready by early next year, I believe. The questions are: is there some exclusivity period for SDL and when does TDO take the attraction down at EPCOT (a park where you can't close anything because of the loss of capacity over the last 20 years) and whether the third theater budget still exists and how that might impact opening?

I assume they have to wait for Frozen Maelstrom to reopen before taking Soarin down. Can't have 2 rides down at EPCOT at the same time.

I don't see Japan sailings anytime soon. I can see China before that.

BTW, a bizarre situation has come up with DCL's recent announcement of two 10-night Hawaiian voyages in fall 2015. Many folks have opted to book both back-to-back, but that apparently is illegal due to arcane US maritime law that requires a foreign port stop (don't ask me to explain this ...or why Vancouver, CANADA isn't considered foreign for the purposes of these cruises) ...but DCL has been calling individuals who booked both cruises telling them that they'll have to cancel one.

On another subject, when did we start negotiating with terrorists ...or putting the needs of the one above the safety of the many ...

That really just doesn't even make sense. But, ok. Sucks for the folks who booked back to back. I can only imagine what one booking costs let alone two.

Have you heard anything about what the e ticket for Pandora is scheduled to be? Are we still anticipating a beefed up Soarin'?

No if they were gay they wouldn't be the ones making sexual jokes about the princesses so they are probably the only men who would have a valid reason to do the rescuing so I apologize for that.. The other ones who are straight and calling ricky a misogynist, are most likely beyond guilty of saying much worse things in private.

Agree 1000%. The joke was trivial and yet all the twitter gals acted like he called for all women to be declared personal property or something. Nevermind the countless times they or their circle of fluffer friends have said far cruder and hurtful things about Ricky. It's high school drama played by overly sensitive disconnected individuals.

Lets not forget there was history with Brigante and the Frozen meet and greet. Remember the case of the mysterious FastPass+? I think there may still be some bad blood from that, oh, and of course - there is the bizarre and creepy Haunted Mansion pin up photo shoot that he is selling. I can see why the girls are not exactly fans.

Ricky was in a picture with the frozen gals and commented something to the effect of, you cant see where his hands are. From what I gather, this was part of a facebook post that someone was offended over, but what wasnt made clear was that the context of his comment was in reply to people saying similar things to that and probably much worse.

Turn off your distortion filter. The long range capabilities of the bands have been fully known and uncontested since the bands showed up on the FCC filings years ago.

Contention has been how the technology will be applied and the differences between theoretical and business value

Mostly true but BB, TL and tambu lounge have the best drinks(strength wise) on property.

I used to enjoy drinking at Tambu, but it has become overrun by the stroller brigade and I don't like having to watch my language or my step because people want to bring their kids to a bar.


As to the water parks, I don't tend to drink at them. I don't like mixing alcohol with too much sun and dehydration.
