I can see why the girls are not exactly fans.

They don't need to be his fans - but there's huge leaps between not liking someone and the overload of manufactured drama and 'feelings' they drummed up today. Society is doomed - we are going to be so fragile, so risk adverse, so looking to blame, all while being incapable of doing any basic life functions by ourselves. Society is going to cave in due to how people are being raised.

I still say we should throw everyone into the wilderness for 3 months and force them to survive at age 16 - to teach people the values of personal achievement, value, and community. The 'bubble generations' are going to implode.

A Frozen ride, a Soarin update, and Avatar over the next three years sound pretty good to me.

Exactly what TDO wants to hear. It will be business as usual until a higher level of product is demanded. Meanwhile if you want quality in a Disney park the answer is increasingly clear. Go to Asia.

A Frozen overlay of Norway is going to be one of the most popular rides in Orlando.

Do not equate popularity with quality.

Why yes it is professor. It's a sledgehammer to kill a fly. Or maybe more adeptly... using a very large textbook to kill a fly.

Down in hickville where they raised me in a horse stall we don't use such fancy words!
How unfortunate, wouldn't even pass for an SAT level word.

People on this board insinuated that Ricky was peddling no more than a month ago, so the hypocrisy (too big?) I'm seeing is hilarious.

Maybe instead of seeing generalizations - you should try associating individuals with your memories.

As for not passing for a SAT word... oh well. I got well over a 700 on the Math part of the SAT.. I didn't need much on the english part :p And I still make more money than every english teacher or professor I've studied with... so I think my 'limited' vocabulary has suited me just fine. But if you want to judge... go for it!

It made me scratch my head in wonder when I saw those release dates so close. Also I have heard really great things about X-Men... I'll have to check it out. Maleficent however... Dud.

XMen was awesome! There are some continuity issues while watching matching up the previous films, but even Singer came out an acknowledged those...they aren't really a big deal though in the end...u just have to see it, big twist ending!!! ;) can't wait for XMen Apocolypse...

Apparently I'm missing what's wrong with the picture besides the creep factor. Something was said? What was it? Can someone please PM me, if you don't wanna post here. I'm out of the twitter loop.

That really just doesn't even make sense. But, ok. Sucks for the folks who booked back to back. I can only imagine what one booking costs let alone two.

Have you heard anything about what the e ticket for Pandora is scheduled to be? Are we still anticipating a beefed up Soarin'?
Made a joke, a bad one at that, about where his hands are... in the picture, his hands COULD be on the backside of the girls.. But obviously they weren't... Someone then took that comment and ran with it as if he was joking about sexually harassing the characters and yet Disney credentials him as legit media... something along those lines...

A Spirited Musing That Y'all Probably Won't Like:

But I think all the piling on of Mrs. Ricky's mealticket is a bit misplaced. Do I like the guy? No. Do I think he is a ***** willing to shill anything for the freebies that he is given, especially by WDW? Absolutely.

Do I think he is creepy? Yep. Do I find his feelings toward foamheads and gals playing dressup weird? Sure.

But I also think this was a weak attack on him. He made a childish joke (have you seen some of mine?) on his FB and someone, apparently that dead guy Card Walker, decided it was open season.

I'm sorry, but I don't see much wrong with what Ricky said. You have an issue with it? How about taking up a bigger issue: Disney making adults hanging out with foamheads and lining up for hours to ''meet Anna and Elsa'' a normal thing.

Ricky was just having fun. I don't agree with the way he has fun, but that is another issue.

There's a lot of creepy and strange behaviors in the ranks of Disney's BRAND advocates. And Disney is absolutely opting to look the other way as long as its social media consultants say these people have value. Rest assured that somewhere on a hard drive at Celebration Place rests the template of a PR statemen where Disney explains away its relationship with a pedophile Lifestyler/Blogger/Podcaster or one that gets blitzed at the Tambu Lounge and drives into a family of four etc.

The issue isn't Ricky having some fun and acting like an . The issue is why Disney places any value on him in the first place.
I couldn't agree more. This was someone trolling for a reaction and Ricky bit. What he said was very harmless.

In short, people need to lighten up.

I totally agree that people need to lighten up. What offends people sometimes just has me shake my head. This mess with him also shows that when you develop a group of followers (and haters) you just can't post anything you want though and then claim it was a joke (which I don't think anyone but him can truly say for sure).

I know it was on Facebook, but since most 'drama' usually comes from the Twitverse ... Twitter has it's place but it's also one of the worst things to ever come about, IMO. I don't know the full specifics of what happened, and he shouldn't have been attacked or piled on like he apparently was (one of the worst things about facebook, and twitter especially, is this mob mentality and cliques of "fans" who feel they can attack someone and say whatever THEY want), but this also proves that sometimes you need to think twice about what you say on the internet. Especially if you're in that position where you have a lot of eyes on you.

I don't know that I'm really getting my point across, lol.

Much like that absurd street party/gay pride event (Move It, Shake It, Celebrate IT!) that goes on and on and on, I would guess that stage show will be playing five years from now. I hope I am wrong ...

Yeah those two are just about the worst things going on property. The audio level alone of the shouting dj in 'move it shake it' is ridiculous. They keep cutting everything else but that horrid piece of street chaos and its hannah montana blasting songs have run past their expiration date. I am surprised that Phil Holmes hasnt tried to save a buck by ditching this, now that FOF is in place.

I don't see Japan sailings anytime soon. I can see China before that.

BTW, a bizarre situation has come up with DCL's recent announcement of two 10-night Hawaiian voyages in fall 2015. Many folks have opted to book both back-to-back, but that apparently is illegal due to arcane US maritime law that requires a foreign port stop (don't ask me to explain this ...or why Vancouver, CANADA isn't considered foreign for the purposes of these cruises) ...but DCL has been calling individuals who booked both cruises telling them that they'll have to cancel one.

it was originally introduced to protect US shipping companies, and because the Disney boats aren't registered in the US or US built, leaglly they are prohibted from this. That is why they have it as two seperate cruise instead of one round trip.

You cannot cruise out from a US (or selected foreign) port and back into it, without having made a call at a far foreign port

Essentially they would either have to add in a foreign stop (several extra days cruise) or pay a fine per passenger thus increasing the cost, Vancouver is not considered a foreign port because the original act was in part to save the Seattle to Alaska industry, so it is a far foreign port that must be visited

I would think though they could offer the two cruise together with an extra cost of $300 to pay the fine, but i am not aware if a cruise company would run into trouble if it were to get fined too many times

Essentially it is an out of date law, that is kept in place more for alines than for Shipping

I like Dream Along With Mickey ... lol. It's basic but somewhat enjoyable. However, liking it or not, it's beyond time for a new castle stage show. Personally, I wouldn't mind not having a stage show.

I can't stand MiSiCi for some reason (probably because it's basically a lame DJ dance party with "floats" instead of just having a DJ with a table). It seems like a waste when that money could go elsewhere. Same for the castle stage show. Although I know better and that budget would simply be cut and not allocated elsewhere.

Twitter is just an echo chamber. Great for getting news out then beating it to death.
