I agree with you, but what else do you expect from a group of people who also probably believe the MMR vaccine cause their children's autism in the first place?
Yes, let us engage in ignorant generalizations and bigotry towards parents of people with autism since a few of them dared to sue Disney. We can discredit their opinions since, you know, all of them don't believe in science and stuff.

So what exactly is the issue with Spice Road Table? I've not been to Epcot since its opening, so I've not eaten there. Overpriced? Bad selection? Just a general Epcot customer fear of all things Moroccan (or faux Moroccan if that's the case) food. Why is it not doing well?
The best/second best counter service restaurant in the park is right next door.

You're missing out. While I am a Cranston fan, McConaughey was in a completely different league in True Detective. The only actor that was in the same league was Peter Dinklage.
A few pages behind but I could not agree more. McConaughey's performance was in my oprinion the greatest role every played on the little screen. Haunting, mesmerizing and really 2 seperate characters. Not to mention the dialogue that had to be learned was incredibly detailed with complex. Still a huge BB fan

Updated Wonders of Life pavilion anyone...:p
Imagination would probably be a better fit, but if the movie comes out next June as scheduled, they'd have to be working on that replacement now *if* they wanted to have something open when the movie does. But it seems Disney is so cautious about success (as they were with Frozen), maybe a new attraction won't be greenlit until/when the film is a hit. Then next year you'll see something slapped together at the last minute on the inexpensive side of things. I really want to hope there is a grand master plan to long-term Epcot efforts, but fear there is not — or that nobody is paying much attention to said plan.

My Celtic music needs bagpipes, banjo, an accordian, huge Marshall stacks and two lead guitarists.
Kind of weird for bagpipes as those r more associated with Scotland and Ireland, heck throw in a new Merida princess meet and greet while they r at it! LOL

The movie is about the emotions inside a little girls brain...that screams wonders of life more than imagination to me...

And much of the "real world" plot is about the little girl trying to adjust to a new school with all these emotions vying for control. It's literally "Cranium Command: The Movie".

I'm basing my opinion on what I saw at D23 last year... part of the plot involves some of the emotions going on a trip to other places in the brain; lots of ways they could make an imagination theme hosted by Joy, the main character, work.

Plus you have to remember that WOL is dead and gone, and is. Never. Coming. Back. It's now a glorified ballroom for events.

According to more recent previews, the Imagination is depicted as a Small World-esque amusement park where all the old daydream rides are being torn out to be replaced by the new puberty-inspired ones like the Imaginary Boyfriend Generator and the Swear Word Library.

Yeah, put it in Wonders of Life. Besides, World Showplace is a larger and better venue for convention stuff that's in closer proximity to everything else participating in the festivals.

They really should just expand Odyssey and make that the new festival center; it's a great location for festival HQ, but then again... that would take planning and foresight. TDO seems too knee-jerk and quarter-by-quarter.

Both actors deserve loads of praise for their their performances. If HBO submitted True Detective in the miniseries category like the other anthology shows did, they would have probably have done a lot better and Matt would have gotten a well deserved Emmy.

Sorry about bringing this up again. Back to theme park discussion.

I wasn't making an ignorant generalization for all (or even most) parents of autistic children, I was making an informed generalization about the group of plaintiffs that filed, and are looking to be included in, the lawsuit.

I have ASD family members, friends with autistic children and have done a lot of volunteering in the past with these kids. The overwhelming majority of those I've encountered with direct ties to autism are wonderful, gracious people who love their children unconditionally and recognize them for the unique and special people they are.

However, there is a small minority of ASD parents who play the victim card, demand accountability to explain why their children are the way they are and eschew science, logic and reason to help them comes to grips with the fact their children aren't "normal." I detected the same victimization and entitlement narrative seen on Autism Speaks, vactruth, NVIN and other "anti-vax" sites on every page of the Disney ADA complaint, and it's a mind set I wholly reject. If that makes me a bigot, so be it, but I would never say what I've seen some parents say about their own children on some of these forums.

I absolutely loved McConaughey's portrayal as Cohle on True Detective, but if we're talking about the best television performances of all time, nothing can compare to Ian McShane's turn as Al Swearengen on Deadwood. It's mindblowing.
