Can you believe that we beat the Lifestyler Brigade? Are they all over at UNI?

Don't they know that there are official Disney Springs planters and pavement and landscaping that have quietly made their debut? And all that new art on the construction walls too!

(BTW, I bought something at the new Co-op store --- I was expecting them to have fried chicken and taters for sale -- and do feel a bit dirty over it!)
I wouldnt be surprised if @Disneyhead'71 's picture popped up on someones twitter or blog within the next few hours.

They won't like it, but will they do anything constructive about it? Or just ignore it as usual?

Gotta run, but this isn't about something they can change because folks don't like it.

Nope, this is about something they are going to change and the reasons behind it and what it means for WDW as a resort going forward.

(just since I hate being a tease, this has nothing to do with Star Wars, Marvel or Avatar)

Too soon, Dave, smh (but really Im LMAO)

It was a cheap and easy joke… Yes.

Next time I'm going to say I stole it from Steve from Yellowstone. Or Bob Saget. Because I hear he'll pay a dollar if you give..... Oh wait I keep getting yelled at for this being a family site and my sense of humor. If you know the joke, finish it yourself. If you don't? Assume it was something reprehensible.

Quick Spirited Hits:

I'll discuss this more another time, but the only WDW park that seemed remotely crowded over the holiday week was the MK. Nothing else even approached typical crowds of March and/or October.

Not to jump the gun, but had lunch in EPCOT today. Friends and I commented on how dead it was. Walked into France's ice cream shop at 1:30 p.m., was the only customer in there. Few minutes later at Rose & Crown, at least one empty table the whole time, and only time bar had a wait is when a local law firm who were drinking around the world stormed the place. You could have thrown a softball down the main pathway and not hit anyone. The only lines I saw were SSE (thanks FP+!) and the design-a-Coke-can temporary attraction (proper first names only--lame--really wanted "Polar Bear").

I'm wondering if once again the conventional wisdom was wrong and EPCOT, not DHS/AK, is bearing the brunt of a lost day to Diagon Alley. If you're not drinking and don't have an ADR, there's nothing besides some very stale rides anybody who has been here in the past 10 years has already ridden. Frozen, which was still surprisingly busy Wednesday night even after the rain*, seems to have saved DHS, but that second day at Universal has to come from somewhere.

*[Crowds may have been inflated because everything in the back third of the park other than the Frozen pop-up store seemed to have closed at 6:30. But then again, people were meandering waiting for fireworks, not leaving.]

No comment other than Disney will not be happy with what I put out, and I feel about as bad about that as they do for charging me $14 for a burger, fries and a Coke at the ABC Commissary that was damn near inedible and not as fresh as a $1.19 McDouble at an area McD's or having inadequate air conditioning at many locations in their theme parks because, unlike UNI, they have contempt for their guests and cast.

I am supposed to speak with someone with knowledge of this particular subject this evening when I return from a family dinner. Depending on what I hear, I'll post over the weekend if possible.
I have the secret Spirit decoder ring. A few of us around here know what's goin' on.

Positive or negative Spirit.

Also how can the Vinoy in St.Petersburg offer a better rate with a breakfast included, where I could have anything off a la carte menu, whilst being at nearly 75% occupancy. Please can someone explain that...
