12 Hours. According to the time lapse my friends sent me from the same cruise.

My friends did not take that, but they were on the cruise....

that video was awesome!

2about two weeks LOl was a trip of a lifetime for sure

leaving the canal to head to florida the seas got really rough for most of the way

every morning there'd be fish flopping around on deck that id have to clear off LOL

WE would be dwarfed in the canal by the freighters and cruise ships

people were always taking pics as we handled the lines ourselves

was very cool:)
seems like a once in a lifestime adventure!

The lines in Norway will be worse than Black Friday. Winter is coming.

You weren't focusing on the word 'scale', but you are fixated on discussing the comparable size of the two buildings.

OK
Sorry, didn't know I couldn't do that. Wait, why can't I do that? The poster has shown an overhead of Norway and one of The Mummy. Is there any real point to your particular fixation?

Don't need to, I know that an argument has to contain apposing sides. This is a discussion.
That is only accurate for one definition of the word.

Of course, this part of the conversation is pointless as it only shows how you guys fixate on tearing into bits of people's posts that have nothing to do with their point, rather than discussing the actual meat of the post. You may as well be arguing over typos.

The most recent attraction to open at USF was neither a clone or a redo of an existing attraction. Then comes Potter. Then Kong. All of these are new original attractions.
Kodos and Kang hardly qualifies as a new attraction. Sure it's a great addition for the park to give younger kids something else to do, but it's a themed spinner. It doesn't take too much effort on their part.

You know that upcoming Pixar film about Dia de Los Muertos that got Disney into hot water for trying to copyright a holiday? Another studio is beating them to the punch with Guillermo del Toro producing and Jorge Gutierrez, creator of Nickelodeon's El Tigre, directing. Looks gorgeous and it's great to see more CG films not conforming to the norm.

Maelstrom show building appears to be no more than half the size of Mummy's. Almost the entire pavilion fits into the Mummy show building. So I stand by my refutation of your comment, Disney cannot do something the "scale of Mummy" inside Maelstrom without ripping out the majority of the pavilion.

The Mummy building is GIGANTIC! It is VERY Tall (Id say like 4 or 5 floors). Its like this because it used to be Kongfrontation.

Just got back from seeing Maleficent. They completely butchered the story of Sleepint Beauty, but the movie as a whole was actually okay

Not sure why it doesn't qualify as a new attraction. But I will say that Universal did very little publicity to announce its opening.

Nice change of pace -- a small attraction that wasn't overhyped. And it's got some entertaining signs in the queue and a funny script, too. Add to that the waterfront view and the "interactive" aspects of the targets that you aim for, it's probably the best spinner in Orlando.

I shudder to think what kind of media avalanche it would've warranted if WDW had been in charge of promoting it.

Wow, that art style is definitely striking. Probably would look great in 3D.

It does technically, but not on the level of what was being talked about. @Disneyhead'71 was talking about it like it was a new idea. A flat ride such as this is such an easy and quick addition for a park like this that it's not even worth bringing up in discussion.

As I said, it helps the park overall as it provides more for the younger audience to do, but that's about it.

If WDW was opening a spinner they would give it so much hype. lol.
I don't know that there would necessarily be any more than what Universal normally has tbh (at least media invited I mean). You just hear more about this stuff with Disney because they are very active with their blog.

I mean, we can make fun of how they over hype things all we want, but they get the message out. Isn't that what marketing is about?
