I'll second that. And let's corner the market in frozen concentrated orange juice.

The Dukes brothers will never see it coming. I love Don Ameche.

it was the dukes it was the dukes
classic

Trading Places is one of my all-time favorite movies (even though I still don't completely understand the ending though I have read the Wikipedia explanation several times).

Anyway, it makes me wander if Iger, Rasulo, and Staggs have made a bet to see if they can a) ruin the WDW parks and while simultaneously b) making themselves rich beyond belief. The bet is for $1 of course.

It's so funny to me that people choose to talk about what's going on here. It really matters that much in your life? Like the sarcastic digs on how many pages that some of the threads have in the blog that cannot be named by that dude Josh. Why give eyes to a place that you don't seem to care for? I don't understand it. Worry about yourself, not what others are doing. (I have no dog in this race, don't know him at all, or the Castro dude, but at the same time, really? Why do people care SO much what goes on here?)

Male fans of the current-gen My Little Pony. You know how people think Ricky's Princess M&G videos have him come off as a creeper? Bronies often tend to be about 10 times more awkward and creepy.
Wait male fans? Like little kids? if so I think that's not so bad. And we are talking about the pony show from the 80's that got redone.

Loved reading that, thanks.

And makes very salient points about both nostalgia and obsession ... things I would then put under the MAGICal Disney fan community microscope and see all the mental illness that's there (and if you think it is bad here or on Twitter or the DIS ... well, that's the proverbial tip).

The best story you won't see in the NYTimes Sunday Magazine or anywhere else is: Does TWDC actively market itself to mental defectives in a way that furthers their illnesses, addictions and difficulty fitting into society?
I've been working on an article that discusses how Disney is forced to deal with this nostalgia while Universal has no such obligation. Thankfully, it seems that Universal is using this as a competitive advantage to revitalize their parks with new IP. Sure, the shelf life of the IPs may be shorter than what Disney owns, but a lower cost allows for a quicker amortization of the attractions. This leads to new experiences more often. While it's a vicious cycle for Universal to keep building, it's one that can prove successful.

They're pathetic little children. They were all probably outcasts in school and now they all build each other up by pretending they're important or what they say matters.
