Many of the maintenance problems caused by guests remain unaddressed not just for days or weeks, but often months and years.
The next time someone is at Pop Century, check out the laptop screen in the 90s section. When I was last there in 2011, it was so gnarly and faded, you could barely read what it was supposed to be. I checked pictures from my honeymoon in 2006, and it was basically the same. I wouldn't be surprised if it was still like that today.

People can talk about whatever they want. They are free to point out whatever they think is wrong or needs fixing and they are often right on the money. After a certain point, however, I find all the doom and gloom to be rather wearing.

If you find the D&G talk to be wearing any 'Sprited' thread is the wrong place to be as these threads are devoted to what many of us find WRONG with WDW, It's not that we don't like WDW, All of us are passionate about WDW but we also want to hold WDW accountable for the decline in quality over the years and in the end all we want is for WDW once again to live up to the standard it set for ITSELF.

EPCOT doesn't need anything new. Just a clean up of what's there. A major clean up at this point, but the bones of a really solid park still exist.

AK was never finished. It was always intended to add more to the park. Avatar is filling that role now I guess, but there is still a large expansion area behind Asia.

Plus, from a money standpoint EPCOT does much better as a stand alone park then AK.

Are you saying that's why it does much better from a money standpoint? If so, yep definitely. If you are saying you think they should actually take away the beer and food that's blasphemy;)

Put aside alcohol sales, food and wine festival or people drinking around the world for a minute. Just dinners alone are a huge money maker. At AK there are only a handful of places you can even eat dinner and the park is regularly closed too early to really capitalize. The plans to add a nighttime show, night safaris and more rides in Pandora that can stay open late should help to keep people at AK longer and help the park to capitalize on the dinner crowd. It will never be as lucrative as World Showcase, but there's a lot of room for improvement financially.
