Dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem are appearing live in concert at this San Francisco music festival in the summer.

"You must be-" "Hi I'm Dr. Teeth."

Classic.
Does anyone have any early box office predictions for The Jungle Book?

Not sure where to put this, but I saw today that Comcast Xfinity has joined the list of connected Disney Movies Anywhere vendors. Joining Apple, Google, Microsoft, Walmart/Vudu and Amazon. ( http://www.businesswire.com/news/ho...ands-Digital-Store-Offering-Content-Licensing )

1. Disney seems to be quietly doing what Ultraviolet can't. Which is a big win in the bid to replace lost home video sales.
2. Comcast/Disney seem to be continuously working together - which isn't the behavior of companies who are at each others throats as most fanbois assume.

Disney Movies Anywhere really is a great service and delivers on its name.

The problem is the view that Disney and Comcast are these synchronized and coordinated units. They're not. The parks units don't really care what happens elsewhere. The studios don't really care what happens elsewhere. So on and so forth.

I totally understand that. But Disney has gone out of their way to work with 'enemies' and 'allies' alike...not a lot of big companies do that effectively.

Disney has not gone out of their way, it is nothing unique or unusual in the world of media conglomerates.

Comparable Domestic box office totals:
200 Cinderella
234 Oz Great and Powerful
241 Maleficent
334 Alice Through the Looking Glass

I'd say < ~200mil would have been considered disappointing (before factoring in how its being received).

However, early reviews are glowing. Consistently a lot is being made about how visually stunning it is. That's important because I think the general consensus is that it is a 'must see' on the big screen and that it needs to be seen in a large screen format. That will translate to IMAX, 3D etc. and that means $$$.

If reviews continue along this trend and the public latches onto the critical consensus, it could be on the Alice end of the spectrum. I also think it could play very well in international markets.

A few other messages I've seen from early reviews is that adults will definitely appreciate it and yet it still manages to be a kid-friendly movie.

So >250, I'd even optimistically say it will hit 300 if the early reviews pan out.

Rogue One looks great.

One familiar face from the original trilogy is in the teaser as well as several other iconic throwbacks and additions from the EU. And there's plenty more of them to come if some of the rumours regarding the film are correct.

I loved the choice of director and its been very well cast with the likes of Felicity Jones, Forest Whitaker and Ben Mendelsohn who looks awesome in the clip

What we've seen and heard so far is very promising. I can't wait.
