I agree. Besides the beauty, there is plenty else: a country that struggled for a national identity after being governed by Denmark and Sweden for centuries, Edvard Grieg, Edvard Munch, the world class research regarding leprosy, building the Bergen Railway which has to climb over 4000 feet, achieving a fair distribution of the wealth generating by natural resources and so on. And all of this in a country that only has a population of a little over 5 million people, is as far north as Alaska and mainly consists of a very long coast line. I was there for the first time this past summer and learned a lot about it. It is a fascinating country and after having been there, I was impressed about how much the original Norway pavilion was actually true to the country that I experienced. They even sell schoolbread in every bakery there!
Not knocking the natural beauty of the country. Just the fact that they were promoting a damn cruise company and an oil rig for its main contributors to the world. The ride does Norway a disservice. Glad its stupidity is gone.

I like your scenario...say we took an average toilet cleaner from a disney park (neither the most intelligent nor the least intelligent), I would bet the company is still not 2800 times better of than it is with Bob.

So if that "means nothing" how would you calculate CEO pay?

And if you don't like that stat consider that average CEO pay has increased by nearly 937% since 1978 while average non-supervisory role pay has gone up a mere 10%. It shows that CEO pay is out of control.

And these days there is almost an inverse relationship with quality and products and services and the amount the CEO is paid, CEO of Toyota 900K (unparalleled quality in their products), Iger 43 Million and we have the 'Going out of Business' vibe with filth and lack of maintenance evident almost everywhere.

Why can't someone take that seriously? there is just as much to be inferred through their interactions so much so that this kind of response even became a thing.

Because I don't think that tweet was intended to be taken seriously.

Does it matter? Some people think they're gay, I think a Finn/Rey romance was pretty clearly established to play out through the rest of the trilogy. I'm more than fine with either outcome.

So when one of the bloggers, who enjoys "favored" status for Disney media events, posts a video of a guy dying on a roller coaster does that give Celebration Place second thoughts about who they're courting as "media"?

Purely hypothetical, of course.
Those guys are right up there with the biggest nutjobs around. Someone who spends their entire life traveling around the world riding coasters as a "profession" is missing a few marbles to begin with. The fact that they posted the video, very matter of fact, and then defended saying "You can choose not to watch. I don't need your drama. Please go away. Thank You."...how Disney could associate with these jackholes is beyond me. But yet, they continue to do so.

Yeah I recall everyone was laughing at my suggestions that huge cuts in attractions/entertainment and pretty much everything else were only a matter of time because TWDC would do anything to please Wall St... Hmmm seems to have come to pass. Who is laughing now it certainly is not me because this disaster is just the beginning.
No, the laughter must be in your head. You should probably see a specialist. You we're saying the End is near, and The Walt Disney company was on its way to folding. 2018 or 2019, if I recall correctly.

Disney spent another estimated $250 million on marketing. That puts the rough break even point at $900 million. Costs of successive films tends to go up and Disney is still going to want buckets of money from each. Disney is well known for having unrealistic expectations and making decisions based on them.
It is a shame this movie will not generate any merchandise or DVD sales. By all that is good in this world, a failure it is.

Understanding how much a film costs or how Disney's history of unrealistic expectations doesn't equate to viewing it as a failure. It is not a complex matter and it's should be so hard to grasp.

Pot, meet kettle. We are talking TFA and the implications it is a failure. In no way is that true. I know they push the new math nowadays, but unless you are using a broken slide rule, this movie is exceeding expectations and may, after RE releases. Make it to 2.5B

While not out or canonically gay a lot of people especially those in the lgbt community see huge metaphors that code her story and progression with something similar to growing up gay.
So does that mean that in order to be strong and brave, a woman has to be gay? I guess the stereotypes are not going away real soon are they.
