What is your favorite imagineering project you’ve ever done (on the boards or off)
Gonna go with my super self indulgent dream park!

For me, it’s gotta be the queue for Expedition Everest
Probably the Laboratory Lavatory, even though I’ve definitely been a part of more impressive projects (Age of Magic especially), nothing will beat the one I got to use my vast knowledge of animal poop on

Honestly, that one is pretty high up there for me too lol. That was such a fun project to work on!

I think there's probably more to the Yoshi ride then we've seen. But personally I love a real low key ride like that. A solid C-Ticket classic dark ride to round it out. I feel rides like Yoshi are what a lot of modern theme park lands are missing. But I feel like if that is what Yoshi is there should be one more attraction to round the land out though. Maybe a flat ride? Another low key ride like Yoshi? That Donkey Kong family coaster/play area?

The land looks incredible visually and I love all the kinetics. I definitely tend to be on team "Let's have 100 moving things" rather than team "Lets have single cool thing that has 100 different ways it can move." Though the NA'Vi Shaman is very cool too. The interactive and walkthrough elements have me more excited than either ride tbh. But I'm not crazy about what I've heard about Mario Kart and Yoshi looks great for a compliment. 2-ride lands just always feel a little underdeveloped to me (Though problem goes a lot deeper in the modern theme park landscape than just Mario)

I would say the Magic Carpets of Aladdin in Adventureland - it creates a bottleneck and if you needed the capacity you could add another flat to Storybook Circus or Fantasyland

Removing it would open up so much more space and scenery

Definitely my answer too! That ride is so bad for the aesthetics and crowd flow of the land.

What attraction at any park (Disney or otherwise) just needs to go? Not refurbed, not rethemed, just gone.
Tarzan’s Treehouse at Disneyland. It is very old and takes up too much space in an already crowded Adventureland. Just last year one of the wooden plates broke and fell. Luckily nobody was hurt, but it goes to show how old it is.

  • Astro Orbiter at Disneyland, it crowds up a lot of the entrance even after entrance refurbs to make it more open. Just replace it with a smaller version, bonus points if they put it back on the roof but I wouldn't mind a replacement being in a different spot or even the same one as long as it's smaller.
  • Another Disneyland Tomorrowland removal I would do is the carousel theater, yes it is a legacy location but there's so much space there to put something better than the sad empty state that is currently there.
  • A controversial one is Imagination, since the second floor has safety issues that it can't really be used as an Imageworks ever again and the first floor has been so dramatically changed that it would take a lot of work to insert a new ride, not to mention the very dated Magic Eye. However if this hypothetical demo and replacement building were to happen I would like the ride to be longer and not current rumors where it's still short.
  • And last but not least, please get rid of Paradise Park at DCA. There's so much potential in that plot for at least one dark ride that it hurts.

You have probably never even heard of this ride, it's at Six Flags Fiesta Texas (San Antonio). It's called Pirates of the Deep Sea, and it's a shooter ride... I hate it. They literally used snippets from the PotC soundtrack, which was later removed. Super low-budget low-quality ride. Reused props from it's predecessor, Scooby-Doo ghost blasters. I hope this attraction burns down 😂

Also what looks to be a reused Chuck E Cheese AA at 0:56

The Fantasyland Theater at Disneyland. Either replace it with a new indoor theater or use it as space for a new Fantasyland ride (like a Marry Poppins dark ride for example).

I'm not a big fan of Tarzan, but the space there doesn't seem to be that big. Can't really think of a great use for that spot other than IJA queue expansion or small retail space.

I would remove that part of the entrance that sticks out into the walkway and revert it back to the original configuration without the bridge as it was Pre-Tarzan.

I have always had an idea to make it the permanent Dole Whip stand area. It's big enough to have the stand, some queue space, and a little bit of seating area. It also allows for more space in the Tiki Room area and a better flow of the crowd as there wouldn't be tons of people lined up across the pathway.

Paul Pressler wanted to remove Swiss Family Robinson to become a store (Imagineers convinced him to make it Tarzan's Treehouse instead). It wouldn't be big enough for a new attraction but removing the staircase up opens the whole pathway up.

Fear Factor Live and Toon Lagoon Amphitheater are begging to have their spaces replaced with a dark ride. Dr. Doom's Fearfall is an eyesore and rather intense, Shrek 4D and Jimmy Fallon are no shows, and; even though it's not open yet, I'd rather Velocicoaster not exist and Pteranodon Flyers + Camp Cretaceous be replaced by the mountain and its yet-to-be-named roller coaster and aviary. For Disney, besides what you guys have all said, there's also Triceratops Spin.

Of course - I tend to listen to disney ambiance when working but I like stuff that isn't too distracting like your vids!

I also noticed you had a Resorts tab, the bus music would be a cool snag - this one to the Yacht Club I really enjoy at the 15 min mark

That is so relaxing... 😍

If you're looking for peaceful I highly recommend this:

I recorded this myself during my last trip in August! I found a small little corner that not many people walk by - I edited out any talking.

Plenty of good options already mentioned, but I especially want to see Tomorrowland Speedway get demolished. You could smell the fumes like a mile away when you pass by it and there's nothing about it that truly fits the Tomorrowland theme.

Run that attraction into the ground, and free up some valuable park real estate.

Well that's a bit controversial *cough* 😂

Like, maybe if they switched the cars to electric and maybe if they had more for guests to see as they drive instead of just uninteresting roads, then maybe it could be okay.

As it is, it's a hard pass for me.
Yeah I totally get why Tomorrowland Speedway should be removed... it's not very futuristic at all, but for some reason I like it, and I'm not sure what they would do instead... maybe like you said, electric cars, and maybe they could enclose it in some sort of glass dome, add more scenery, make it a little more test tracky. I'm gonna mock up something for this.
