It's the one place when I have my family all to myself with no one else around. We talk and laugh while enjoying the magic. So many great moments! Thank you Walt and WDW!

For me it is reliving the magic of my youth when it first opened and I can first remember my parents taking me to it. I am so happy I was able to go there with my parents and daughter before my dad passed away.

Unfortunately, it is one of the few places where everyone can enjoy being a child again and enjoy it as a family.

I feel good there, I feel comfortable, like Im at home but without the day to day stresses...I cant explain it, but I feel very peaceful there. :)

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
A Place where EVERYONE Can Relax!!!

For us WDW is Heaven!!! Coming from Ireland it is very hard to head to WDW for a vacation more than oce a year as the price of the flight is so high! I first went in 1998 with my uncle as a 12 year old and it was simply amazing!!!!:sohappy: I did not return until 2008 with my GF and we had a great time but we decided that we needed longer so we went for 3 weeks in 2009 and we had the time of our lives!!!!

After that trip we were pretty sure there was no way we could return until 2011, but because of discounts and special offers we are returning in August 2010 and we truly cannot wait for our 16 to 21 day trip!!!!
We are going with Free Dining which opens up a world of experiences for us which we cannot wait to try!!!

Wdw is the pinacle of vacations for us!!!

We are HUGE USA Buffs! In the last 2 years we have been to NYC twice and WDW twice, and in the next 2 years we will head bck to WDW twice, NYC for Paddys day in March, WDW in the summer, Hopefully Las Vegas in November and after that who knows!!! But!!! Nothing on this planet comes close to The World and never will. and it will always be a place where we can go and never look back, and just 4get about the real world and enjoy every second of being in the World that was all started by a ,Mouse and the main man himself Walt DISNEY!!!!! :sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:

It's the only place that we keep going back to time after time, and still look forward each time to our next visit. It's like taking a step out of the real world for a short while.

If today someone were looking to build the most efficient method of transportation available to get people from the Seven Seas Lagoon and TTC to MK and Epcot, they'd probably build the monorail exactly as it was created 40 years ago. It's just that good, and nothing even close to "better" has been invented yet.

Actually I disagree, personal rapid transport is a better type, but it hasn't been used widely yet

first i'd like to start by saying THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for starting this thread... I'm fairly new to this, and I have to say I was really surprised by the percentage of negativity and criticism over the good things... so this is like a breath of fresh air :)

For me, just being there...ANYWHERE there...the parks, the resorts, the restaurants, the monorail, even the buses... anything within WDW just makes me absolutely the happiest I could be. Going for years with my family since I was a little girl..to now going 3-4 times a year with my family and boyfriend.. its like a home away from home. When my boyfriend and I go, I just feel like that "magic" and happiness make us fall in love all over again. I have too many memories to even count there...and the thought of bringing my own children there makes me smile... it truly is the happiest place on earth. Its an escape from how overwhelming reality can be, and it gives everyone the chance to be a kid again - which we all need everyone once in a while!

I love Disney World. My family and I have Disney references in our daily lives . When we travel WDW is our reference as a standard. We always have a good vacation when travel to WDW. As folks have said it is a second home that just feels comfortable. Regardless of the negative comments found on this site and others they would not bother if they really felt Disney was not the best.

My birthday is at the end of August, and for months prior to that last year, my family was going through some hard times financially, as well as all the emotional stress that causes. I didn't even think about celebrating my birthday at all, til my husband reminded me about the free ticket thing, and encouraged me to use it. (We live in Orlando.)

I wasn't sure about going out alone on my birthday, but I did, and I'm SO glad I did. I've never had a more perfect day in the MK. I choked up many times that day, but it was wonderful and magical... and I felt like Disney had given me that gift when I really needed it the most.

I had been very down and depressed before that, but that one day lifted my spirits and let me forget about all my problems and just be there, in that place that I love. I'll always remember it, so... Thank you Disney. :)

Walking into the MK and seeing the castle makes me giddy and it takes my breath away. Tradition for us is to go there on our very first day. I also love how every time I see Wishes I cry!!

LOVE the food at WDW...can't be beat!! From the snacks and desserts to the sit down meals....unbelieveable.

LOVE the rides. From the smoothest of boat rides to the upside down rides...love them all.

I could really go on and on. It is a great place to visit. This is the only vacation where you truely feel like you live in a different universe...free from stress, bills, worries or anything else. Awe.

GREAt thread!!

I LOVE WDW! Where else can you visit Africa and Asia, meet the movie stars, view at close distances animals in their natural habitat, visit a castle, go for a boat ride, see princesses and princes...meet a few fairies, ride a roller coaster or see the moon...learn about Planet Earth or go on an expedition...have your photo taken with a Troll, walk around The World (in less then an hour! LOL), watch American Idol, see any one of numerous parades, watch several different fireworks extravaganzas, meet God knows how many different characters, have your photo taken with Walt or Roy, get scolded for putting your elbows on the table, listen to stories, watch drum and fife corps, eat a dole whip or turkey leg, watch my daughter's face every time we see the Welcome to Disney World sign.....and watch her light up every time we see Mickey or Minnie or Donald or Pluto or Goofy or Chip and Dale....

I think you get the idea....These are just some of the reasons I love WDW!
