How about the old fashioned "Disney Studios Florida?"
How about the old fashioned "Disney Studios Florida?"
It should just be called what it is "Disney's triple A HPS" Disney's Attempt at a Harry Potter Swatter.
But it's not a studio any longer.
Technically, is the Magic Kingdom truly a kingdom?
But it's not a studio any longer.
Well, it has a studios theme to it in many parts.
Yes. In the sense that it was originally intended. Can you say the same for DHS?
Having worked for 18 years with TV and movie studios, including multiple years with Disney, I can say yes, it is still technically a studio.
Just posing the question, but couldn't "studios" refer to the actual studio production companies themselves and not just the physical sets and sound stages? MGM, Sony, Pixar, Disney, Lucasfilm, Universal, are all production companies, and if some of those companies products are represented within DHS, could that not be enough for the name "studios"?
I see what you're saying, but I think Disney built this park as a working studio and that idea still exists as long as "studios" is still attached to it. Disney may be looking to remove that idea from people's expectations by the renaming.

The very first post...Could someone point me to the news item or insider info indicating the name is being changed? I seem to have missed it.
The very first post...
They could just go with TWDC Holdings Park and cover all the bases.
P.S. Third gate, not fourth. It's late, I know
