Do a search, you'll see them.

I'd like to see your arguments on why it would it would be any good.

It has great memorable show scenes that would translate to a great dark ride experince:

-The village
-The creepy woods
-Beast's dungeon (where Belle first sees him and hes all scary)
-The Dinning Room!
-The Castle Library
-The Castle Ballroom
-The final battle

They could even do the ride entirely inside the castle using multiple levels and make it like a cross between Mr.Toad/Snow White it would be so fun.

Ok, ready???

Ride is omnimover.. You sit in your vehicle as you ride through scenes from the movie... You start in Belle's village... Follow her to the Beast's Castle... You come face to face with AA's of Lumiere, Mrs. Potts, Cogsworth, dancing forks, spoons, knives, dishes, napkins as they perform Be Our Guest... You come face to face with dancing AA's of Belle with Beast in the ballroom scene as Mrs. Potts since Beauty and the Beast.... All this takes place inside the castle.. Then, as they do in Haunted Mansion, you are whisked outside to witness the mob attacking the castle.. You climb up the castle to witness the battle between Beast and Gaston (on top of the castle).. You witness Gaston's plunge... You witness Beast's transformation into The Prince (with special effects that would be one whopper of a scene)....

By the way, the building is designed to look like Beast's Castle...

That, in my opinion, would be a great ride... And in fact, I think someone else posted that here on the site if I am not mistaken... So, the idea isn't my own...

I don't believe I am saying this, but, yes... I do agree...

One concept has BatB replacing the snowwhite dark ride

Another concept (the blueprint version) has a BatB resturant instead

I'd rather have the former because the Snow White ride isn't what it used to be so they might as well replace it with something better.

I must be the only one, but I am not so sure Beauty and the Beast would translate well to a dark ride.
Now I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum. I think a Beauty and the Beast dark ride would be extremely popular, especially with all of the improvements in today's technology. The show scenes should be absolutely beautiful! This movie was a big hit when it came out, and I believe that it will do well again when it comes out in 3D next year. Could this re-release be a way to reintroduce Beauty and the Beast to this newer generation of kids to pave the way for the dark ride? It must be difficult for WDI to pick a select few of their classics to base theme park attractions on. Can anyone imagine a park with at least one attraction based on every animated film? A super park! :)

EDIT: Just saw some of the ideas for show scenes, and I have to say that they sound great! Excellent job guys! This ride has so much potential!

Sounds like something the requires more than 10-15 seconds per scene to have any effect. What would be the ride vehicle? Would you be a passive or active participant? Why would BatB be better than Sleeping Beauty or any number of other potential properties for a dark ride environment? Why would a movie that has such a strong appeal from it's music work well if it had to cut it's songs down to such a length as they would loose their impact?

Gaston's hardly a thing to be feared or chased at like the Witch in Snow White (who'd, along with Maleficent have much scarier dungeons), a Library isn't nearly as exotic as Neverland and there's zero opportunity for any kind of surrealism like Mr. Toad or Alice in Wonderland (another key ingredient of a good dark ride).

The stage is a place to tell a musical about two people folling in love, not a theme park ride. I'm sure all the sqeauling fan girls who insit it would be great would be mightly disapointed by the end product.

Your dinner theater would be much better, and that's something you are getting supposedly (along with a whole village). Think about fans about just about any other Disney property who have to put up with much less representation in the park.

Omnimover ride system that could be different furniture pieces.

Here's my version:

1) Intro- Beast's backstory
2) Belle music scene
3) Gaston's part in Belle
4) father kidnapped
5) belle meets beast
6) be our guest
7) something there
8) father telling gaston about beast (+ Gaston's song)
9) final battle
10) BatB

devote 1 minute to each segment and it is a 10 minute solid dark ride

For some reason, I think a Alice in Wonderland themed water coaster would be interesting...

When I think of Alice I think of singing flowers, a mad hatter, and the cat. Not water :ROFLOL:.

I'd like to see some kind of water coaster for Pixar Place .... Nemo anyone???? :zipit:

LOL, there is enough Nemo!!! :ROFLOL:

Any water ride in DHS has to be themed around Indiana Jones!!!!

If they did added Alice, which I doubt they ever will, I bet a clone is what MK would get... But, I'd prefer a new adventure in Wonderland, not a clone...

Me too. Maybe a wild mouse coaster in a dark ride setting. That Queen of Hearts chase scene would be epic with sharp turns.

How about something radical... leave Snow White and actually ADD another C ticket dark ride.

It might just work....
