Potter. Not even close.
Gauranteed, I'll spend 10x more time in WWoHP than in Princessland. More time and more money.

You know that the new FL+TLM won't come close to HP - even though you have ridden or seen neither of them? You must have a really good crystal ball.

An old ride system that has been around for 50 years or new technology utilized in a unique manner that has never been experienced before?

Yeah, I'll take Potter. Throw in a totally immersive environment with unique experiences that will provide people with a fully interactive world and you have the knockout punch.

Id say FLE. I couldn't careless about HP, but I think its a good thing they're stepping up. What I dont understand is how did disney lose the kuko arm tech to Uni. I thought they were the ones developing it.

And while the FLE will be good and better than what is currently there, I still dont think it will hold a candle to the one in DL. Sure, it'll be more spacious and scenic, but its pretty much a big a...er....pretty meeting greet with one ride. Atleast DL has actual rides and can keep the name fantasyland while MK's could change to princess and fairyland.

Ride technology isn't everything. Just compare the new Imagination ride to the old one. Storytelling and artistic craftsmanship will always be more important in the long run.

Still, I'm with you on this one.
Universal really seems to have the right people on this project and they're giving every aspect 110%.
Just listen to Theirry Coup talk about the wand shop store:

By the way, Disney fans should be rooting for Universal to "win" this one.
Nothing will light a fire under WDW's bean counters to build and improve more quality projects like loosing ticket sales to families with young children.
Competition is always good for the consumer.

The wand part is going to be one of the coolest parts of the whole project. A fully interactive environment controlled by wands? How can that not be awesome? :D

Let me preface this by saying I'm a big supporter of Universal and I love it when they give Disney good competition.

I think Harry Potter will be a great addition and very well done, however, it's still IMO relatively small, area wise.

I think if Universal doesn't do crowd control well, they could have some issues if the opening is as popular as many are speculating and that could cause some bad press.

In addition, I know it's pretty rare to do this around here, but I really want to wait until both areas are finished before making up my mind.

Disney isn't the only company being forced to make cutbacks and while I hope all of these ground-breaking, Earth-shattering, game-changing attractions being hyped as part of this new Harry Potter area actually come to pass, until everything's built there's no telling what might not actually make it into reality.
