The new extended Fantasyland Vs Harry potter land??

Exactly. HBP was fine....until they completely ruined the ending.

While I would hope for more substance in FL, which I do, in full, I'm always reminded of countless threads before the FLE Leak, where we all looked over and wanted the aesthetics of a green, whimsical, organic Fantasyland. I think this expansion is finally bringing that...and I'm happy about that. It'll be beautiful.
That said, yeah, it does need something else. I don't think that's wasting the funds at all, but I do think that they could trim some fat (M/G's) and add in another attraction.
And yes, HPatHBP was totally ruined by that sleeper of an ending.

I went with the New Fantasyland. I am not a Harry Potter fan so I am nowhere near as anxious to see that as I am the new FL.
I have no doubt I'll check out the new Harry Potter set up at Universal next time I venture down to FLA, but it's not going to be that big a deal for me.

Can someone explain to me exactly what this expansion is? I already know about the meet-and-greets for the princess', will that be all?
And your never too old for princesses, FL is still my favorite part of MK.

I would say neither! Each is a major construction project bringing a lot of buildings and immersion to the park. HP probably a bit moreso as buildings are all together making a stronger impact. For all that construction, each only has one new ride, a couple of rethemed ones and lots of restaurants and gift shops.
I want a major project like that to have at least 2 E tickets and 2 D tickets, not two more hamburger and chicken nuggets grab and chokes.

We've been blitzed in our area with TV ads for the new HP land. The announced opening date in them is "Spring 2010." Nothing more, nothing less......
