Look, I'm all for improving maintenance and uptime, but how about details?
How do I know it's not just empty words?
As framed, unless there's more that wasn't shared here, it's just "we'll do better, trust us!"
I don't know Drew from John Q. Public.Drew seems to believe it and that’s good enough for me.
I don't know Drew from John Q. Public.
What's his track record?
The Micechat article expands on this a bit re: maintenance and uptime, it sounds like they've made a more concerted effort to fix/improve maintenance and reliability issues, and it's resulted in a genuine, measurable increase in attraction uptime, ridership, and guest satisfaction year over year in 2025.
So good for them on that.
Even in 2023, when I last visited Disneyland, I was astounded how great most rides looked (even rides about to close) compared to their WDW counterparts. They just don’t care in Florida. I’ve seen people use “poor condition of rides” to defend certain closures. Then their replacements come and the maintenance is even worse than their predecessors. Clearly the problem is in management.I mean, most attractions looked the best I'd seen them look ever in 2025. And tons of things have been fixed.
If we hadn't had to deal with 2020-2024's changes, I'd be saying the park now is the best it's been in a decade.
Who remembers? Haha
