Will Buzz Lightyear Astroblasters exist in 2030?

I say no. I think it’s prime real estate for a new attraction for the 75th anniversary. Between this and the ever present Tomorrowland and Peoplemover rumors I don’t think it makes it to 2030. It’s also felt so run down of late. Which is odd as they have pretty much recently spruced up almost every other attraction in the park. In fact, it seems that the Tomorrowland attractions are the only ones that haven’t been closed for refurbs leading up to the 70th.

I have no evidence, but a gut feeling, that there are eyes on both the Buzz space and the box office receipts for the upcoming Lilo & Stitch remake.

I’ve been saying the same thing and that’s before I even knew there was a live action stitch movie coming out. Either as dark ride or just some show scenes for the PeopleMover.

Probably intentional, unfortunately. Trying to counter their floundering numbers.

Oh I am sure, they probably can already see the data coming out re: Canadians cancelling plans.

When I cancelled my hotel booking across the road, I did write in why, so I am sure the resort area is seeing an impact, and sharing the word with one another.

You're right, they need the space....

The park was busier than the typical Sunday last weekend. I suspect it’s the $50 kids ticket deal that is coming to close on 3/20. I previously thought it was 3/8. I’ll be curious to see what the crowds are like on 3/23.

I recall last year there was a significant drop off pre-post on Freshbaked.

I actually took advantage of it, it’s kind of funnily timed this year that it overlaps with a spring break peak.

It was moderately busy, got good mileage and value out of lightening lane.

Pre-post?

I always thought Easter week was peak Spring Break which is in late April this year. The $50 ticket ends on 3/20.

Pre and post the ticketing offer I meant. The day after it ended was noticeably slower by multiples.

Sorry I must say I’m probably focusing more on east coast data. Our spring break in Ontario was (is) this week.

At the park this evening for the first time in a few months. Indy, Mansion, Tiana, Rise, and Big Thunder are all ā€œtemporarily closed.ā€ Small World is down for refurb. The poor Disneyland Railroad CMs are cramming people into the trains lol.
