This, hahahaha: https://www.britannica.com/event/War-of-the-Eight-Saints

I feel like trying to downplay Walt (which is absurd, lol) has more to do with ego (on Chapek's part) than it does in any way trying to downplay Americanism (does that sense? I realized after the fact that it was a very obscure joke lol)
Thanks for the clarification. I thought you were referring to the Western Schism, when multiple individuals were claiming to be pope! Either way, a pretty unexpected comparison to draw!

Hey, anybody want to know what a Zootopia dark ride would be like? Thanks to that Craiyon/DALL-E site, we know!

Incredibly creepy...

This is also what I got last time I was there! So good and filling too.

Seriously. What’s up with these food vloggers? They seemingly review every dry crappy burger around both parks but never mention the patty melt? Now the waitress did say that this version of the patty melt has only been around since post shutdown. Apparently it was previously on plain toast.

Holy smokes! Why does nobody talk about the patty melt at Carnation Cafe? That thing was delicious! Crispy Parmesan toasted sourdough toast and meat was juicy and cooked perfectly.

@PiratesMansion get this ^^^

Sounds like I have something new to try next time I'm there. I've been relying on the Plaza Inn chicken to get me through my trips the last few years... it might be worth trying something new.

It works well. I just don't really know what I'm doing with it yet. I've been trying to get a feel for how to do stuff in sandbox mode. I attempted to make a mountain with waterfalls, but failed miserably. And I have a volcano with fire coming out of the top and extra fire randomly in front of it (oops) that I can't figure out how to remove. 🤣 Oh well, I'll figure it out.

After a few hours of just randomly slapping rides, etc. down, it has become painfully obvious how genius the hub and spoke park layout is! Once I've figured out the other stuff, I'll start again with a better layout.

EDIT: After playing with this for awhile, I'm even MORE impressed with the screenshots of your park. :D
I grew up on RCT3, started with the demo. Now, if you want to go deeper than RCT3, Planet Coaster is basically RCT3 evolved. It's made by the same developers! The creative freedom is ridiculous, no more grid like in RCT3. I was working on WDW Space Mountain a couple years ago in it but never got back into it. Wasted like 40 hours on it, 10 on star tunnel alone lol.

I will say though, it's not a good simulator, but neither was RCT3.

I love the distinction between 'Disneyland good' and 'good good'

Cause that's definitely a thing!

Lol. Good Good is a high honor that I believe is rare at Disneyland/ DCA. Even the Plaza Inn Chicken I think falls just a notch below Good Good. Maybe the chicken itself on a good day but certainly not the rest of the plate which is just Disneyland Good. That patty melt was undoubtedly Good Good.

With that said the first one I ordered was better than the second. First one I split with my sister. It was so good we had to order another. Second one was also very tasty but the bread didn’t have the beautiful Crispiness the first one had. Was a little more chewy than crispy. But that could just be because the waitress put a rush on it as we already had all our food.

Why do people get to leave the line and rejoin it again? If they leave the line, they should start at the end or wait until the rest of their party is getting off the ride. How do we know they are rejoining or just line jumping?

I know when I had a stinky two year old, I had to leave the line to change him. I didn't expect my place back in line with my family again.

I’m fine with it. There are bigger concerns in life than being slightly inconvenienced by a mother and child trying to reunite with the rest of their family.
