I am a total introvert who loved single rider. I was good at staying in my personal bubble while riding. The ride I SR'd only once was Goofy's Sky School. There was no way to avoid touching/slamming into your seatmate. I used it mostly on Racers.

OMG. Single Rider on Goofy sounds like a nightmare and it’s honestly ridiculous they even offer it on that ride.

2022 is the 20th Anniversary of the release of Lilo & Stitch
Lilo & Stitch was my favorite Disney movie as a kid, and I still love Stitch so much as a character. I would probably consider him my favorite Disney character. When I was little I collected a full lanyard of different Stitch pins, separate from my other lanyard with just all different random pins. I'm almost 23 so I guess it makes sense I loved it so much since it came out when I was 2-3 years old. Thanks for sharing that cool fact!

That new Lego Star Wars game for Nintendo Switch looks awesome
I've been waiting for this game for so long since all the delays have happened. It really looks like the original Lego Star Wars games with updated / modern mechanics and graphics. I can not wait to play it when it comes out.
I'm hopeful the Harry Potter RPG that's coming out this year ends up being good. A Witcher 3 calibur RPG but set in Hogwarts would be amazing.

I'd be more interested in the Lego Star Wars game coming out if it didn't have the Sequel stuff. I mean really I just care about the OT stuff, it's to bad you can't buy it for that trilogy only.
My girlfriend showed me the trailer and even though neither of us are Harry Potter fans the game looks incredible. I have a basic knowledge of the story of all the movies but I am familiar enough with the world of Harry Potter to have genuine interest in the game. Such a fun concept of going to wizard school to learn your abilities you'll use to fight off enemies. I am cautiously optimistic about the game from what I've seen. And I'm especially glad this and the Lego Star Wars game are both going to be on PC!

Public Service Announcement: if you are a grown man in a theme park (or anywhere really) and using the mens restroom kindly Do not use the one childrens urinal if their are other urinals that are free.
FYI, they’re not children’s urinals, they’re wheelchair accessible urinals.

Single rider on Goofy is the best. In and out, and you get to scream and laugh with the other people. A blast.🙌🏾

I feel like you have to be a very confident Single Rider to pull that off at Goofy's Sky School. That vehicle is about as intimate as a sleeping bag. It seems like you'd need to be able to establish to your seatmate/roommate you aren't a loon or a former convict within only about 4 seconds before they lower those bulky lap bars down and everyone is confined in place for the next two minutes.

But if you can pull that off succesfully, more power to you! :D

Wait, I just thought about that. For probably 5 seconds too long. Are they really wheelchair accessible urinals instead of kiddy urinals? How does that... work, exactly? Like, logistically? Realizing there are ladies present here, of course.

Wheelchair accesible urinals? I'm baffled. Yet intrigued in how that works exactly.

For decades I just assumed those were kiddy urinals. For little boys, mostly for training and indoctrination purposes.

Lol.

If I had to guess they re “wheel chair” urinals to be up to some code and yet I’ve never seen someone in a wheelchair using them. I see kids or able bodied adults that are too lazy to walk to the next urinal using them. So for all intents and purposes they are kids urinals. No matter why they came along or what they are officially known as.

Oh, that makes more sense. They are for men in wheelchairs only for the purposes of bureaucrats in a government office somewhere. In reality, they are kiddy urinals.

In the four decades or so since they have existed, I have never seen a man in a wheelchair using one of them.

Trust me, I’d remember that. And congratulate him.

I will say, I'm in a number of family photos on Splash. Single Rider is usually walk on around 2 or 3, and they usually put you in seat 6 so you don't get wet. I've been known to go repeatedly.

But at least you're not sitting directly next to someone and the back in Splash is larger and feels more isolated from the rest of the log.

Like you said its not weird on Splash as you are sitting single file. I’ve used Single Rider myself for Splash once in the past. I’m all good with Single Rider as long as they don’t take away my ability to veto on Space Mountain, RSR, Goofys Sky School and Incredicoaster.

I don't care on Space or RSR assuming the single rider doesn't stink and isn't obese.

I only ride Goofy's if I'm on a date, since the ride is wonderful for playful flirting. So Single Rider doesn't really matter on that one, and I'm shocked they offer it on that one also.

Maters is the more extreme version of Goofy IMO. Top date ride.

I wish I was able to take dates on the old Splash Mountain and Matterhorn vehicles before those got changed up.

These Disneyland food vloggers are terrible. They can never say anything negative without saying something positive about the item before or after. If something downright sucks just say it. A recent fave of mine is when they are reviewing a a very dry looking double cheeseburger. “It’s full of flavor but it’s just too dry.” So by full of flavor do you mean the ketchup, Mayo, lettuce, American cheese and bun then?
Yeah I don't understand this. They are talking about very overpriced food. I know it's themepark food and not to expect it to be Michelin Star level food, but call something out for what it is.

Most Disney desserts are way too sweet for their own good, especially the stuff in their bakerys.

I don't think I've ever enjoyed a burger in the park besides the one in Carthay Circle (but certainly not worth the asking price).

It's themepark food and people should call it out for when it's bad. Disney isn't a child chef who is making a dish for the first time and can't take criticism.

Also why are themepark fans acting like they are "foodies" these days.

You think serious foodies are going to fly out to Disneyland to sample a churro with purple food coloring or a funnel cake with chocolate syrup?

Wannabe foodies, there is so much more to the world than themepark food, please eat anywhere else, and it will be cheaper too.

It really is no problem for me at all. It’s very natural and normal for me to talk to and interact with strangers. I’m also not shy and not afraid to perform in front of crowds (I was placed in the Attractions department after I interviewed for Disneyland/DCP partially for these two reasons alone, and it’s also how I got placed in the Operations department at Universal after auditioning). Usually when I single ride Goofy, I’ll turn to my partner and greet them with a “hey!” Sometimes I’ll ask them if they’re ready for the drops and we usually both laugh. After it’s over, I tell them to have a nice day and then we of course part ways. I don’t find it awkward at all, but I do understand how and why others may feel differently.

I moved to Massachusetts for my second Master’s and my boss was impressed with how quickly I made new friends and acquaintances and adjusted to my new surroundings. I literally had an entire conversation with someone at a crosswalk on Fairfax and 3rd about the work grind and the joys of relaxing after a long day. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I find those types of interactions super interesting. You connect with someone for just a few minutes and then they’re gone. I think life is full of instances like that.

Bottom line is, I have no problem interacting and talking to complete strangers. I consider it a gift.😁
