It all just has to be "enough". That's all we want, so that we can nod, think, "well, okay then--that's fun," and just enjoy it. Star Tours nailed it when it first opened: "Star Tours is an interstellar travel agency. They've opened a franchise in Tomorrowland because the place is full of potential customers." That's all we needed as an explanation for why Star Wars was in Disneyland. It was perfect.

Honestly Brother Bear wasn’t that bad. Just saw it for the first time and I expected much worse. It has some heart and sweet Phil Collins tunes. I mean I’m sure I can name 10-15 worse Disney animated films where you don’t feel a damn thing. Nice soundtrack too.

I forgot the PeopleMover had music on board the cars. Or that Circle-Vision played two different moves in 1990, including one borrowed from EPCOT Center. This video is full of sad reminders of how much better Tomorrowland was:

"Brother Bear" is the reason so many people saw "Brave" and went "What the..." as Disney became the first company to proudly present *two* animated features where a human gets turned into a bear as the major plot point. "Brother Bear" isn't bad at all, and it's certainly more cohesive than "Brave."

Why was it so uncrowded at DLR yesterday? I’m talking amazingly uncrowded. Put it this way, their were Ghost Galaxy FPs still available at 8pm. I know it was a Jewish holiday but is it a 3 day event because Friday I checked wait times and they were super low for the first day of Halloween at the parks. Has the summer down season extended into Fall? Have APs began to stop renewing? Are people waiting for SWL? What’s goin on here?

We'll see what happens this weekend. It could just be a fluke.

Or maybe Disney has finally found a balance with the crowds.

This whole no lid thing at DLR is not only annoying but unsanitary. Walking around the park with no lid with people sneezing and coughing everywhere? Or even worse, leaving it in my sons stroller cup holder while on a ride. Ya no, guess I’ll have to chug every beverage with my meal and buy 3x as many drinks. How about the inconvenience of handling this open beverage while holding a toddler and 4 other things?

Or how about buying a reusable sealable cup for $5 at Target, bring it to the parks, pour your drinks into it, and be done with it.
