What’s more annoying about the 13 days is I don’t understand the logic. They want you to spend like your on vacation right? Yet if I’m a local and go 13 days after using my first day why not just let me go 28 days after using my first day? What’s the difference?
I expect that they'd feel that you, as a local, would either get a ticket right before you'd visit or buy an AP. Two weeks makes some sense for tourists because most people won't travel for more than two weeks, and few will even make it that long. So if they must have such a policy, I can at least understand the logic behind it being a 14 day window, even if it's not perfect.

I’m working this week and unfortunately have to wear my mask. Just wanted to welcome back my dry raspy throat. Missed ya.

This is technically not true, NY Times.

My first guess, DLRR, was geeky but better.

Do they really have this silhouette of rotating characters at 1901? Man they just can’t help themselves can they?

Remember reading years ago when it opened that there they had a silhouette projection of Walt Disney. Wonder when they changed it to be character based.
Found a picture of it:

Again weird that they even bothered to change it in a restaurant that most people won't be able to access so that all eyes can look upon the synergy.

What's our bet on how long it'll take for PATF theming to start invading Club 33?

I hate that they did this but is it just me or does that silhouette not really look like Walt?

Watching a recent Disney Food Blog video. I do love their Youtube content; for a commercial Disney Travel vlog, its refreshingly honest, critical and down-to-earth— and AJ Wolfe’s narration is a joy to listen to.

But I’m watching the episode on WDW’ s cheapest food options, and they’re telling me $14 Mac n’ Cheese in a cardboard french fry tray is a bargain... for Disney food. And they’re right. And it’s surreal.

I know I may be sounding like a broken record but it really is interesting how I just all of a sudden hit a wall over the last weeks and now have no urge to visit the parks. I’ve always managed to ignore the bad news and just enjoy what I like at the parks. But the bad stuff has been coming so fast and so consistent that I just can’t seem to do that now. It’s like you sweep enough stuff under the rug and one day you just trip over.

It’s not just the PC stuff. It’s also how clear they re showing they don’t care about guest experience with their sloppy/ cheap operations. The cherry on top is that it can all be yours for all time high prices.

To be fair, I would wager to guess it’s a list of things that has been happening over time and now it’s coming to a head for you.

I think a combination of being forced to go over a year without visiting the parks and no longer having an AP also has a lot to do with how you’re feeling. It’s true when people say you don’t know when you don’t need something until you don’t have it. I could be wrong, but it doesn’t seem like you miss having an AP all that much.

Possibly but I was pretty excited to go on my trip in May. Something happened between that trip and now. Amd I think it’s just the consistency of the bad news/ bad decisions more than any one thing.
The constant getting less but paying more. The asinine levels they have taken their virtue signaling.

Not really missing the AP at the moment. Could that change when the weather cools down, they offer a membership program and when they take a few steps in the right direction? Maybe. I also have two young kids. I’m not trying to deal with their crappy operation right now with things like hour + mobile order waits etc.
