I don't believe there's any danger of primarily DL people being sent to Florida. As long as the Disneyland people are still located near Disneyland

Kim Irvine’s team is most definitely staying. But what about something like Avengers Campus or Galaxy’s Edge? Those were done by Glendale, not the dedicated Disneyland team. Why would those projects be designed in California and not Orlando now? I don’t think it’s known if they’ll keep a bigger Disneyland team in California to develop new projects and if they do there may not be a lot of permanence in those roles.I don't believe there's any danger of primarily DL people being sent to Florida.
If the team who created GE and AC are leaving, I’d say that’s probably cause for a celebration.

Careful what you wish for. There’s no guarantee that a replacement is better. If the team who created GE and AC are leaving, I’d say that’s probably cause for a celebration.
You have to probably replace the CEO as well as the entirety of senior Disney leadership to make any meaningful change.Careful what you wish for. There’s no guarantee that a replacement is better.
Yes, true. That’s why I said probably. But the decline has been going on for some years now, so I guess more decline wouldn’t phase me.Careful what you wish for. There’s no guarantee that a replacement is better.

So I was planning to buy a two day ticket to Walt Disney World because I'm in Orlando for a week, right?
Except that I'm going for Halloween primarily, so non-Disney things (since, y'know, Disney isn't not running their Halloween Party out there) took priority.
This means that the two Disney days would be separated from each other by about six days. Normally not a big deal.
HOWEVER, at some point Walt Disney World apparently decided that if you bought a two day ticket, you have a four day window to use it and that's sufficient. Not 14. FOUR. Then they expire.
So if I actually want to go for two days, I have to buy two one day tickets even though I'm in the area for a one week period. So now they're going to be lucky to get a one day ticket purchase from me when I was ready to give them money for a two day ticket. I'm not going to shell out money for two one day tickets in a one week period!
So Disney, this is what I have to say:
You would think so. Not saying Disneyland is sterling and perfect in this regard either. But at least they're not doing things nearly as many transparently cash-grabby things as Florida.Yeah they keep doing stuff like this. At some point it has to catch up to them…right??

At least, not yet.
At least with 14 days you have an actual window to use your tickets relatively at your leisure. The fact that you have use 2-5 day tickets within 13 days is equally annoying

I get that it's not as good as tickets that never expired, as used to be the case for both Disney and Universal. But there's also a huge difference between 14 days and 4. I mean, I was going to visit five days apart.
