The Miscellaneous Thought Thread

I got into that for a minute but I felt that they made it too damn hard to win anything. Especially the Disney park emojis. It needs to be more reasonable. I got bored with it before I got what I wanted. And the whole possibility of getting the same emoji twice before getting one you don’t have is dumb.

That is very angering.

Is it as bad the Magic Kingdom game where you just sit there for all hours of the day clicking things and trying to earn gems, which you really need to pay money for to advance. What a piece of crap.

I still have yet to watch Brother Bear and Home on the Range. I was surprised that Chicken Little wasn’t terrible. I thought it was ok and remember it having some heart. With that said I had a decade + of terrible reviews to go off of that left my expectations rock bottom.

I'd be curious to see how that series would have turned out.

Haunted Mansion Animated Series

I'm also curious if this is ever gonna happen:

Guillermo Del Toro Haunted Mansion Film

I'm going to make a guess based on the pitch: It looks like the series would have heavily featured the paintings and had the teenage character entering a different painting in each episode, probably to help one of the 999 residents by untangling something in their past. If that's the case, then... interesting, but.... nah. If it's just a one-time gag about the paintings, then I wish I knew more about their ideas for the show.

I don't like the "...it's going to be a bumpy ride" line. That sounds like something Leota would say in the Eddie Murphy version.

This is probably already being discussed on the WDW side, but thought it was interesting.

Magic Bands may become a thing of the past at WDW:

Fascinating. I could not get past this:

At Walt Disney World Resort, we are always looking for ways to wow our guests with new technology that enhances their experience.

And It'll probably be offered to WDW guests gratis. Why don't they make more effort to bring these cool features to 'wow' people I California? Pointless question because obviously I know why.

Spring Break this year is very busy. I went on Saturday 3/24 and today and both were busy. Both during blackouts. The crowds felt way more tourist heavy. Here’s an interesting observation I also made- I feel that their were a lot less good looking people during blackouts. Are most of the good looking people at DLR on any given day LA/ OC locals?
