And what's that second loading track on Alice?
The overflow track for ride vehicles, similar to the roadway holding 3 cars on the right side of the Jr. Autopia loading area.

And possibly get drafted into either the Korean or Vietnam wars, no thanks. I like the time period, but I'm happy being born in the post-draft era.Sometimes I wish I was born in the 30s/ 40s.
The price of getting older. I still remember Junior Autopia. The feature was going thru the Garage/Barn (aka Tunnel). Photos my grandparents had helped keep that memory in my crazy brain. Loved that silly ride in my childhood.
Would you mind sharing some of your old Disneyland pictures with us?
Alas, most of them are not in my possession. If I do come across some, of course I will.
It was! I LOVED Midget Auotpia. That and Casey Jr. were my two favorite rides when I was pre-K. And maybe even K.This looks pleasant

Since Midget Autopia used electric motors and a busbar like the dark rides, it looks like the CMs would manually push the extra cars on or off? Is that how it worked?
... or the Critter Country dark ride that shall not be named. It seems that with any big renovation at Disneyland their is a trade off. You lose charming little things like Midget Autopia but usually for a net gain.... except when it comes to TL 98.
Yes, and many similar rides today still use that system. A section of track can be swinged away, and vehicles can be pushed off, using the wheels on the vehicles.Since Midget Autopia used electric motors and a busbar like the dark rides, it looks like the CMs would manually push the extra cars on or off? How has the removal of all smoking sections that started on May 1st impacted operations? You guys aren't losing your brains like the people on the main forum.
Weeds been way more popular here and it already wasn’t allowed in the parks. I couldn’t get over how many cigarettes I smelt in NYC last year. Definitely not something I’m used to anymore unless I’m passing through a Vegas casinoHow has the removal of all smoking sections that started on May 1st impacted operations? Am I crazy for absolutely despising everything about this new version of "A Whole New World" put out by Disney?
