Why are you yelling?
I really think you read into this waaaaay too much. People were curious because the thread title indicated there would be some crazy misadventures to read about. We didn't get that. Heck, we didn't even get any adventures. All we got were some photos of a lady who seemed to be enjoying herself a great deal. People were having some fun with it.
Lighten up.
true that!
and by the way, from the look of the lovely ladies in the pic, they are clearly mom/daughter and the sil started the thread. However "signed______ "the wife".." mad is now doing the posting so the title should be changed to adventures with mom!
One thing i have learned here for sure, we will laugh at you, the next guy and also ourselves. Try it, it's invigorating! Far be it from disney freaks to be, uh, serious! :roflol:
wife did last message, only because a few people seemed to think i was off line because the wife found out and didn't like the thread so that was just her letting those people know that was not the case.
We want this to be fun! Sil back to posting... Thanks
love it! I think that the majority of posters were just having a little fun with you, and i removed any remarks that i felt were not appropriate or just teasing.
I don't think anyone was trying to be malicious. (although i did wonder if your mil was ok with having her photos posted online. I know that my family would not appreciate it.)
I just want to say that I was jokingly saying the thing about your wife being mad! I was posting it also, just making this fun.
please dont feel like anyone here was being serious/upset. I'm pretty sure we were all either hoping for more, or hoping you were not just being a troll of sorts. Please continue the report!!!
.... wondering what type of misadventures there was....
HERE WE ARE WAITING TO RIDE THE KILIMANJARO SAFARI,WHEN WE TURN BACK AROUND SHE'S WALKING OFF WITH A TOTAL STRANGER.
GUESS SHE WAS OUT TO MAKE A NEW FRIEND!!!
We could tell mother in law jokes while we're waiting.
Q: What's the punishment for bigamy?
A: Two mothers in law.

Great list. I guess I am lucky as I have a great MIL. She makes a gaff now and then, but all in all she is one incredibly cool lady. We're all glad that your power is back on. But please don't take offense. The "misadventures" and "Mother in law" are obviously going to make the mind wander, especially after the absense.
By comparison, my mother in law, who was a saint, took various trips with us over the years (never to disney), but our misadventures with her and others like her have included:
1. Constant and ill timed necessary trips to the bathroom, making us miss shows, embarkation times, etc . . .
2. Whining about how we treat the kids, what we eat, the money we spent.
3. My favorite, opening a patio door in the evening and immediately letting in a hundred flying insects of various size and leg numbers.
4. Constantly saying "What?"
5. Having her hearing aid start buzzing, all to her obliviousness.
6. Forgetting her purse at restaurants, in the lady's room, etc . . .
7. Shoving desserts at us that we were trying to avoid.
8. Wandering away.
9. Walking off in the wrong direction because she has absolutely no sense of direction.
10. And, although not on vacation, ripping off the muffler to my car with a snowblower.
Yes, the world is filled with mother in law irritations. Don't take the prior comments seriously.

Do you wonder around Disney with the wife or husband longing for the mother in law to be there enjoying the trip with you but she can't be? Fear not because you can now 'Hire a MIL'. Enjoy wacky misadventures with her as you stroll through the parks. Laugh as you get her tipsy on alcoholic beverages in the evenings! Have a smile with your partner as she walks off with the wrong family in the Animal Kingdom! Or why not torment her by hiding her hat and then make her carry a parasol around with her and pose for pictures? Hours of entertainment for the MIL free family and very reasonable rates
Dial 555 - MIL for reservations
SO HERE WE ARE IN WORLD SHOWCASE ,WHEN SHE STARTS COMPLAINING SHE FORGOT HER HAT. SO BEING A NICE SIL I SURPRISE HER WITH THIS PARASOL.
NEEDLESS TO SAY,SHE DIDNT NEED HER HAT FOR THE REST OF THE TRIP.
CAN YOU SAY "I FEEL PRETTY"
I am never without my hat. In fact I was at the Legion recently and was having a burger at the bar. As is tradition at the Legion I uncovered. Stephanie, the bar maid, looked at me for a minute and said, I've never seen you without your hat, you have hair. LOL That said, no parasol for me please.
