We can't take my MIL. Someone has to stay home to take care of our dog and cats.

I think she is awesome! How fun to have someone so wonderful to vacation with.

My MIL was very dour and thought vacations a waste of money. My Mother always raised me with the idea that a man should never have to choose between his wife and Mother, and that I should always be the bigger person if we didn't see eye to eye. I am so glad I was able to do that for him.
Sadly she passed away about 17 years ago when my husband was still in his early 20's. I would have loved to have had the opportunity to introduce her to WDW. I bet she would have smiled then.

Not sure I "get" this thread. Is this just a light hearted chance to share the wonderful trip you are having with your mother in law or are the "misadventures" something you will explain further? Sorry, I guess I am a sucker that when I hear someone talk about their mother in-law that its often negative (not for me on either side thank God)
