I never had the "talk". A nun told me in school and even then, I still didn't understand what she was talking about. It took a while. :lookaroun

Well, my mom never gave "the talk". In sixth grade the nuns split the class...boy in the gym, girls in the auditorium and we were shown filmstrips!

With the way TV is today these kids know more than the adults do!

I think kids know about it...before they see anything on TV related to the subject...

We had to watch a movie in the 6th grade that showed a woman making pancakes in the shapes of womens insides. I swear, I couldn't make that up. Little ovary shaped pancakes. I remember it like it was yesterday.

4th to 6th grade are still consider elementry here, but regardless, I still consider it very young to know about S E X.

It is, but I remember being in 3rd grade and being taught some things by a few of my classmates. I came home, asked some questions, and got "The Talk"

Mind you, that was almost 20 years ago, and I was one of the most sheltered children in my class. So if things are that much worse today, 4th grade is definitely not too young to start talking.

Well, about the younger kids being taught that stuff today, I had two older woman come to my college a couple of weeks ago trying to brainwash us that pro-abortion was the only way to go. They said it isn't uncommon for them to see 8-10 year olds going in for abortions. That's just wrong.

Wow, all the "sensitivity" and "honest expression" and "actual human sentiment" in this thread is just getting waaaaaay out of hand, fellas.

I will now steer it on track with an appropriate sentiment:

There are only two qualities that really matter in a woman...and the perkier they are, the better.

(I really have no idea why I'm still single.) :lookaroun

I don't think grade three is too young to start talking.

I didn't learn - as in schoolwise- about S E X until grade five. Too late, if you ask me. I already learned most of the stuff (infromation wrong, of course) from my friends.

And to answer the question the original thread posed... three things I look for a guy... hmm.. he has to be...
a) italian or spanish
b) able to put up with me when I'm at my absolute worse
c) love movies.

Easy criteria! :animwink:

Hey, some girls don't care  I know I've seen cousins and friends going out with...not-so-smart guys so we're back to the superficiality of it. If they're cute, who cares?
