The Foodie "Canadian Themed" Musical of MillerPoppins

So here we are, home already. I don't remember ever being as bummed after a trip as I am with this one and I attibute that to it being so amazingly awesome. I believe this, along with the 2008 trip with my Mom, was at the top of the Disney trip list. I was so afraid that after months of planning, something was going to go wrong. Aside from one minor set back (more on that in a bit), the trip was perfect. So let's get started!

So to recap, this is my 9th trip to this World of ours and my boyfriend's very first. Tim has literally been all over the globe, seeing everything from the pyramids to rainforests to glaciers. When I heard that he had never been to WDW, I insisted that I would be the first to take him. And while he was very excited, he never wanted to see any footage, photos or anything Disney related except for the animated classics before we got there. It made it very difficult for me. However, it paid off greatly in the end. And as much I believe I have converted him, he's not completely on board with blogging on being on "Disney sites". With that being said, his photo will not be posted. You'll have to settle for photos of me and some awesome scenic ones he took.

So our trip started the night before as he scrambled to pack and I had been pretty much ready for a week. After he zipped up his case, we went to our local sushi joint for a quick and non messy dinner. After rolling out, we had minor food coma and crashed. Wake up call came quite early though at 3:30am and we headed out the door. To my knowledge at that point, we were set to go! I was so excited and could barely contain myself as we headed though security and stopped for a quick coffee before heading to our gate. As I was waiting in line, I was digging though my bag and could not find my phone...

To back track, two years ago on the night before the trip, my cell phone was stolen enroute to my parents house. I had to spend two frantic hours trying to cancel service and have a new phone sent to All Star Movies. It was an experience I did not want to repeat. However, here I was on my vacation and it would be the second Disney trip that I had a phone dilenma before I even left. Thankfully, Tim had his so I wasn't as upset. What could I do?

After a quick two and a half hour flight, we were in paradise! We marched right up to the DME, boarded and were off within 10 minutes with one other family on the way to All Star Music. We couldn't help but crack up though that the song from the Canadian Pavilion movie was on in the bus. Tim is from Canada and our dinner that night was in Le Cellier. Thoughout the trip, Canada seemed to be quite prominent through other guests, shirts and themes. After our little video, we were there! Our front desk agent Dianne was extremely gracious and granted every request I had. A king sized bed in the Jazz Inn and it was ready!!! What more could I want??? We headed to our room and as we walked out towards the pool, I started getting emotional. We were finally here..after two years of waiting, months of planning and lots of saving pennies.

We were thrilled with the room, changed into "Florida" clothes and headed to Epcot. We were ready for some Food and Wine Festival goodness and Future World Fun!

We headed to Soarin, got fast passes and decided to grab lunch from Sunshine Seasons. I was a bit apprehensive about the crowds. The place was packed! I ran though my head thinking what could be going on that I wasn't aware of? I had come down during the same time a couple years ago and it was NOT like this. I tried not to let it bother me and looked forward to some yummy Sunshine Seasons goodness. Tim got the Pork Chop and Caramel Apple cake for dessert while I got the Grilled Salmon and Key Lime Tart.

I TOTALLY agree about Lotso! (But will still get my photo taken with him too- for the same reason!) Loving the trip report!!

Glad I'm not the only one! Thanks so much!

I've lived in Manchester NH (West side, with the old canucks) almost all my life and we are crazy about Poutine (AKA Poo-Tang, that's what my friends and I call it). I've tried every Canadian want-to-be restos and they pretty much don't do it justice. When my mom visits our family I make her bring back the real cheese and a bunch of St. Hubert gravy packets and we eat it till we chuck...just thinking about it makes me hungry.

I can't wait to try the real thing! :slurp:

Really enjoying your trip report! :)

Thank you! :)

This is the perfect way to spend a day off :)

Loving your trip report.

Thanks so much!

Castle billboard, that's what I'm talkin' about! Love Rick.

Me too! They actually had two there!

Day 6
Back to the Magic Kingdom

We were excited to get back to the Magic Kingdom for the full day, but after going non stop for 6 days there had to be some sort of breather. So we decided to sleep until one of us woke up. Whoever woke up first, would wake up the other. Plus, that night we were doing the MNSSHP so we knew we'd be there til around midnight. So our "sleeping in" had us awake at 7:30am. So much for that, we were at the parks around 9:30ish.

100_4180.jpg

We really were spoiled going in after the park opened. But I promised Tim this time that he could take his time taking photos. Also, I wanted to hit up Guest Relations to change an ADR time for the next morning and ask a question about Tim's golf time on our last day.

100_4183.jpg

So once we were in and had stashed our costumes in a locker for that night, I headed to Guest Relations. Tim happily snapped away around Main Street.

100_4190.jpg

100_4192.jpg

100_4193.jpg

So after I hit up Guest Relations, we wandered down Main Street. As he took photos, I went to check out Main Street Bakery. But it was MOBBED! We were quite hungry so we decided to hold out until 10:30p for lunch service. We had an early dinner reservation that night so we figured we'd eat early. Yet again, we didn't manage to have any coffee this morning and at this point, I was crawling. We made our way into Adventureland to hit up Pirates, but it was down.

We made our way around the corner for Fast Passes and there she was...Jesse! And with Woody! During my last trip to Disney, my Mom and I looked everywhere for Jesse. Other then parades, we couldn't find her anywhere. I was so excited to see them both together and ran to hop in line. Tim ran to get us FP's for Big Thunder.

100_4210.jpg

The little girl behind us was the cutest thing. She was two and freaking out the Woody and Jesse were right there! We had fun talking to her parents and then it was finally out turn!

100_4212.jpg

It really is pathetic how excited I get for this stuff...

100_4213.jpg

Tim was then made aware that I would be leaving him for Woody...

100_4215.jpg

But Jesse seemed cool with it...

Your trip report is so much fun to read! I love all of your photos of bakery items. I did the same thing on our last trip. I bet we hit up Boardwalk bakery twice a day! Can't wait to hear the rest.

So after seeing Woody & Jesse, we hit up Splash again then headed to Tim's counter service pick of the day: Peco's Bill. I'm not stupid though. I totally plugged the places with the Fixings bars. Although he didn't seem either here or there with it, I know he liked them.

We actually had a bit of a draw back to this experience. I fought with what to order. I had the pulled pork sandwich a few days before, although very good, kinda wanted something else. Opted for the veggie burger ( I don't eat beef) and thought, "Cool, I can pile lots of stuff on it." So we order and get up to the counter to pick up our food. The counter help tells us, you have to pick up the veggie burger over by the fixings bar. Ok no biggie. I wander over and the cook working the grill says, "Oh it's not even hot yet. It's going to be a while". Ooooooook? Given that I didn't know how long this was going to be, I decided to abort mission and get a pulled pork again. The manager comes out and within minutes, the change was made. During this process, Tim had gone to get the "fake cheese". He apparently didn't see the tub of molten hot gooey cheese and piled shredded cheese on instead. Awww, it's ok! So this was our food.

100_4219.jpg

100_4220.jpg

I had grabbed my melted cheese and was enjoying it so much, we opted to get a side of fries. I thought this to be no big deal. I went back to the same register guy who felt terrible about what happened with the veggie burger. As he was putting in the order, the computer froze. Again, felt absolutely terrible and took me over to the other side of the counter area that was just opening. He put me at the front of the line. They took the order of a side of fries and then came the wait...for 15 minutes. A line had now formed behind me of folks waiting for all their food. It felt like such a while for an order of fries. They had none of the food ready, which begged the question, Why did they open it if they weren't ready? When they finally came out, the people behind me actually applauded. By the time I got back to table, the cheese was cold and Tim was completely finished his meal. It, by no means, ruined my day but it was a bit frustrating. Here was the aftermath:

100_4222.jpg

Rolling out with a food coma, we went to use our FP's at BTMR. I seriously love that ride. It's so much fun and never gets old. I'd have to say it's up there as one of my favorite rides in the whole "World". So after this we rolled over to Pirates to see if it was up yet but alas, no.

100_4224.jpg

So we opted to do the Enchanted Tiki Room since Tim was trying to hit up things we did not do. It had been over a decade since I've seen this. But what the heck? Let's go.

100_4231.jpg

100_4232.jpg

When did this show become so short? I didn't remember it being EPIC by any means but when they told us to get up, I thought it was to dance, not heave ho. Oh well.

We decided to make our way to the Move It Shake It Celebrate It Block Party. We saw the end of it the other day and wanted to make sure to catch it. En route we were going to pick up a Dole Whip, but the line was quite long. So we made it to the Castle area and actually thought maybe we had read the times guide wrong. There was no one there for it! And we were late...AGAIN! So I grabbed a coffee at the kiosk there while we were waiting. So yeah, to recap, I ate BBQ Pork and Fake Cheese before a cup of coffee...I LOVE DISNEY!

I can't even begin to tell you how much Tim liked this and I wasn't expecting it. The both of us were dancing and having a blast with this!

100_4242.jpg

100_4245.jpg

He couldn't get over that the characters came down and danced everyone. He thought it was so cool and took a ton of photos. I'm only putting up a sampling.

Me and my sweet coffee...
100_4267.jpg

100_4284.jpg

Of course, as soon as they play that "Celebrate You" song, I started losing it again. Here we were in front of the Castle in the place I had been dreaming literally of coming to for months and Tim was so happy. Then I looked at him, and he was emotional too. His eyes were all welled up and he just hugged me and said thank you for all of this. That just made me lose it more. Something that was really cool was that it was "Sweetest Day" while we were there. Now grant it, I think that Valentine's Day is not the greatest day in the world because of all the pressure. Sweetest Day? Really? It was ironic but cute. So yeah, I'm a giant mushball now.

We headed over to Tomorrowland to get some FP's for Space Mountain.

100_4303.jpg

100_4305.jpg

100_4306.jpg

It was so funny. Magic Kingdom on a Wednesday? PACKED. Magic Kingdom on a Sunday? No so much. It was really nice. We could wander a bit and Tim could take pictures at leisure. I could wander in and out of stores. It was great!

100_4308.jpg

100_4310.jpg

We grabbed some FP's and then grabbed a train back over to Frontierland from Toon Town. Tim was happy we got to do something else we hadn't done yet. We spent a lot of time in Frontierland and Liberty Square area. We hit up the Haunted Mansion again and then BTMR again.

100_4315.jpg

Once again, we hopped back on the train to head over back over to the Toon Town area for FP's to Space Mountain.

100_4322.jpg

100_4323.jpg

It was really fun how much we both enjoyed Space Mountain so much this time! We should have really gotten one of the photos cause they were so great.

100_4330.jpg

100_4331.jpg

We hit up Buzz, where I demolished him again, and then the Carousel of Progress. Tim couldn't get over that the whole thing actually moved. I totally dozed off but I enjoyed that too. Afterwards, we made our way down Main Street USA. Tim found the Philharmonic Band again as I went wandering in some more stores. I loved that they did a Mary Poppins Medley! Afterwards we made our way out of the Front Gate and to the next Monorail. I really do love my rides on the Monorails. Especially when they are taking us to the Polynesian for dinner...hehehe.

Tomorrow...Ohana and the Halloween Party!

LOL no he's in plenty of photos, he just doesn't want them posted "all over the web" as he says. Both of us are actually very private folks so this is an adjustment to me as well. He's from outside of Toronto.
My husband is also from outside of Toronto...Burlington to be exact.

BTW, hubby's baby brother married a Canadian girl from Niagara-on-the-Lake. I think that's a little ways away from Toronto, tho. My one and only trip to Canada was for their wedding. The area right there when driving from Niagara Falls up to NotL is so freaking gorgeous! Too bad the sis-in-law turned out to be of the flaky variety. I'd have liked to have gone back to visit again. :D

I love, love, LOVE Niagara on the Lake! So beautiful.

I am really enjoying your TR. I'm glad that I am not the only one who has become emotional at the Magic Kingdom. I used to just put my sunglasses on to avoid my husband seeing me but he has caught on to me now. Just being there makes me so happy that it gets overwhelming.

So glad to see you enjoyed the California Grill. It's our must get ADR every trip. We usually order the exact same thing...the tenderloin for me, filet for the husband. Looking forward to reading more!

Thank you! That's awesome. And you know what else is awesome? That you are a Phillies fan! And that you got engaged in Disney on my Birthday . We really did love California Grill. Tim wants to it to be an "every time" stop.

So we arrived at the Polynesian for our Ohana dinner. I was so excited to go to this ADR. It was the first one I made for this trip and was really looking forward to it. We arrived perfectly at 5pm when our reservation was at 5:10p.

100_4332.jpg

There was quite a big line to check in. While we were waiting, we looked around. I don't remember being on that floor before but was excited to see Kona Cafe. We had an ADR for breakfast there the next day and I was excited for Pineapple Macadamia Nut Pancakes. But for now, it was time for this amazing Ohana dinner that I had been hearing about. So we checked in and then took some photos and wandered around.

100_4334.jpg

100_4335.jpg

We stumbled upon a pin trading event which was pretty cool. We also got to see a few of our photo pass pictures which we hadn't seen yet. Tim was quite impressed with how nice the photos came out. Shortly after, our buzzer went off and we made our way over to the podium. Our host was extremely nice and friendly.

100_4349.jpg

It wasn't long after we got to our table (apparently the same one HollyBelle and her future hubby were at) that we were greeted by our server. Her name escapes me but she was ok. It was now time to order a drink and after hearing so many different reviews on cocktails, I was torn on what to get. She said the Back Scratcher wasn't the greatest, but spoke highly of the Lapu Lapu. I had heard so many great things about the Lapu Lapu that I decided that I absolutely had to go with that. Tim opted for the Agave Margarita.

100_4341.jpg

I was quite happy with my selection! It was super yummy! She then explained how dinner worked and to pace ourselves. She also made sure to tell us to save room for the bread pudding because it doesn't taste "like it was sat on like other bread puddings". WOW..that's a description :ROFLOL:.

Out came the dumplings and the wings...

100_4343.jpg

100_4344.jpg

Both were awesome! I could have finished the plate of dumplings on my own they were so tasty! But I took the suggestions of the server and paced myself. Sadly, I totally dropped the ball on this one and did not get to take photos of the meats or side dishes. The broccoli was cooked perfectly and the noodles were really flavorful too. We liked the sauces as well and thought they really matched up well with the chicken, pork and beef. Tim was slightly bummed with the shrimp as they were not "cleaned" prior to being grilled. We also encountered another downfall on this meal when Tim broke his tooth on a piece of beef. I couldn't believe it! It wasn't a tough piece of meat or anything. It just broke. We didn't say anything to the server as it wasn't anyones fault. To be honest, I work in Food & Beverage and have seen every excuse under the sun for not wanting to pay your bill. I never want people to think that's me. So if it's not a blatant issue, such as this, I let it slide.

After really enjoying everything, it was then time for the Bread Pudding. I didn't drop the ball here!

100_4346.jpg

Delicious! It was so good and not heavy at all. We were completely full at this point. The one thing that I wasn't crazy about was the pace the food came out at. Now we were told we could slow it down, however it was coming so fast, we didn't get to. On the other hand, we were excited to get back for the Halloween party. So it wasn't that big of a deal. We both agreed that we would definitely go back..even with the tooth and speed situation.

So downstairs we went to change into our costumes. Afterwards we headed out to the pool bar where Jennie was meeting back up with us. Ray had to work that night so he couldn't make it but we were super happy Jennie could. We met up and lost it when she saw our costumes. We didn't have to wait very long for a boat, but Tim managed to get a few shots while we were waiting.

The boat ride over was beautiful. It wasn't too crowded and had gorgeous sunset views of the Floridian and the Contemporary. We arrived for the party and headed right in. Tim was super excited! We had been on the fence about going to MNSSHP leading up to the trip due to the extra money. I decided last minute that we would go. Halloween is one of my favorite Holidays and I didn't think I'd have the chance to dress up for Halloween this year. And I was so happy that we did.

100_4360.jpg

100_4359.jpg

We made our way down Main Street and started people watching. Kids were really getting a kick out of our costumes. We took some photos and then made our way to Tomorrowland.

100_4400.jpg

The initial goal was to get a photo of us on Buzz Lightyear since our costumes tied in so well. We hit up some of the trick or treating spots and then made our way to Space Mountain.

Tim said the front car was nuts on this ride and he was totally right. I really thought the Lapu Lapu was having its effect but holy cow...it was nuts! We laughed the whole time! After wandering through Tomorrowland, we made our way into Fantasyland. We saw the dwarves but figured we'd come back during the first parade to miss crowds. We made our way into Snow White and Peter Pan, both rides we hadn't been on at all yet. Afterwards we hit up the Haunted Mansion of course! The effect they add in for the Photo Pass was awesome! It was then time for the fireworks! As we made our way into the center of the circle area, people were taking photos left and right of us! Some folks actually asked us to take photos with them. It was hilarious!

100_4401.jpg

100_4402.jpg

The fireworks was amazing! They ended up being Tim's favorite night time show.

100_4426.jpg

100_4429.jpg

The plan afterwards was to hit up Pirates. Apparently though, me hitting a wall was my brain's plan. I slept through Pirates. I SLEPT THROUGH PIRATES! After my doze off, we went to pick out a spot in Frontierland for the parade.

Oh my. The dumplings. I'm obsessed with them. This picture just made my day!

No lie, I actually ate myself sick on my honeymoon at 'Ohana. I shoved my face with so much and so quickly that we had to leave before dessert was served. I thought I was going to die! Thank goodness we were actually staying at the Poly because I barely made it back to the room.

So we wandered into Frontierland and grabbed a spot along the parade route. I sat down at this point to wait for the parade to start. I was really, really tired.

100_4435.jpg

Six full days of going non stop finally hit me. As a result, I hit a wall like no one has ever hit before...

100_4437-1.jpg

I fell asleep sitting up on the ground in Frontierland. Yeah, actually fell asleep sitting up. This photo is not fake at all or posed for. I am fully and totally sleeping in this photo. I could not believe it.

I was woken up to see the Headless Horse man go by. Then I got another nap before the parade started.

100_4439.jpg

100_4446.jpg

100_4448.jpg

100_4449.jpg

I got a second wind during the parade as a lot of the characters reacted to our costumes. Tim wore the same little green men outfit as me. Jack Sparrow tipped his hat to us, Mickey gave us a thumbs up and we also got "The Claw" from one of the Country Bears. It was awesome!

100_4457.jpg

100_4458.jpg

100_4468.jpg

We absolutely loved the parade and I was invigorated...a bit. So at this point, the crowd was really starting to thin out. I wanted to head over to BTMR to ride at night because I think it's so much fun doing that at night. But instead, we made our way back to Fantasyland. We ran into the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland who took a photo with us, doing the "Claw" motion. Then, we hopped in line for the Dwarfs. Once it was our turn, we got "attacked". Bashful, I think it was Bashful, totally molested my head. He felt all over my ears, antenna and eyes. It was hysterical. They made antenna motions in the photo and had so much fun playing with us.

Afterwards, we headed into Toon Town and did the Alice In Wonderland Candy Walk. Alice and the Mad Hatter also played with us, making us stoop down and both of them did "The Claw" motion too. We grabbed some more candy and ended up back in Tomorrowland. We stopped in the video arcade/store hooked on to Space Mountain. We were looking for the limited edition Halloween Party Pins that were only sold during the party. Tim really wanted them. While we were looking, a cast member surprised us with pins she made that said 2010 Out Of This World Costumes. :sohappy: It was really sweet!

The pins were no where to be found in Tomorrowland after we had seen them earlier in the night. Lesson learned-always buy things when you see them. We made our way down Main Street and into the Emporium where we did manage to find some of the pins. We headed out of the park and to the Monorail. Jennie had offered to drive us home. We were so dead tired. After seemed like forever, we made it to Jen's car. I remember putting a sweatshirt she had in the back seat over my cars and that's about it. I passed out. We got back to the room, I hung up my head and we crashed!

Day 7
Park Hopping Day

I was an idiot. The day before in my trip to Guest Relations I took my 9:30a ADR for Kona Cafe and had it moved to 7:45am. My thought process was that we could fit more in by going to breakfast earlier. Clearly, after my hitting a wall and not getting out of MK until after 12a, this did not happen. I was so disappointed. I had really been looking forward to going to Kona after hearing so many awesome things on the boards. We tried to get another reservation but there was nothing available. At this point also, Tim broke down and admitted that the didn't think he could do the golf reservation I had set up for him the last day. He was so tired and sore from walking so much that he didn't think he could make it through a whole round of golf. He felt so bad, it had been my anniversary gift to him this year. But I totally understood where he was coming from and besides, I hadn't paid for it yet. It was some poor planning on my part to schedule a full round of golf after 8 full days of running around the Parks.

So at this point, we had to decide where we were going to pick up another ADR at since we were now down a table service credit. I had mentioned to Tim about 1900 Park Fare and how the breakfast has both Mary Poppins and Pooh. He looked so surprised that I didn't book that for us. Since he knew nothing, he had no idea that it existed. We tried to get in for one of our last two days, but it was also booked. We settled on getting in for dinner at 50's Prime Time since we both thought it seemed like fun, I had never been and we were planning on hitting up HS later in the day. They managed to squeeze us in around 5:35p. We also opted to add another day on to our park tickets since we now had our last morning free. Tim wanted our last experience at the park to be in the Magic Kingdom.

So after sleeping until we woke up, I got dressed first and headed down to cancel, add and pay for our extra day. I then grabbed coffee and a vitamin water for himself. After he was ready, we headed back over to Animal Kingdom.

100_4479.jpg

We took our time getting ready and actually didn't get into the park until around 10:30-11ish. Tim took plenty of photos and we made our way over to Dinosaur.

100_4485.jpg

We were thrilled to find it only had a 10 minute wait in the standby line. It was fantastic! The crowds had really gone down and we were thrilled about it.

100_4493.jpg

Dinosaur is a must do for me every trip since it's one of the main attractions in Animal Kingdom. However, I have a hearing situation that makes loud noises decibels louder to me then they actually are. So much so, that it actually hurts at times. While it is uncomfortable for me to ride with it being so loud, I still think it's fun. Tim really enjoyed it too.

100_4494.jpg

100_4495.jpg

We wandered around a bit more and Tim happily snapped away...

100_4499.jpg

100_4504.jpg

We made our way back towards Asia to pick up FP's for Everest. Tim wanted to hit that one up again since he enjoyed it so much.

100_4509.jpg

We strolled along and took more photos as we went. Tim couldn't get over the details of the park and how amazing it looked.

We grabbed our FP's and decided it was time for some lunch. Again, I gave Tim a rundown of what our options were for a counter service meal in AK. He opted for Yak & Yeti, which I was hoping for. I like my chicken nuggets and park pizza, but I like to have something different from the norm. Also, I loved the Yak & Yeti table service meal, so I knew I'd like the counter service.

We rolled up and looked at our options. I chose the Honey Chicken and Tim opted for the Sweet & Sour Chicken. Since I don't eat beef and we are both foodies, Tim tries to opt for non beef meals a lot so I can try. But I always encourage him to get whatever he wants since I have no problem with him not sharing. I know he really enjoyed his meal at Le Cellier and his burger he had at Peco's Bill. We also chose one Frozen Lemonade and a Chocolate Cake.

This was really good! Tim didn't care for mine because he said it didn't have enough flavor. I think that was because his had a lot more sauce, but I really liked mine. We shared both desserts and were pleasantly satisfied afterwards.

I used their ladies facilities outside of the counter service area and I have to comment that they were the darkest bathrooms I have ever been in! Borderline creepy!

Next stop: The Maharajah Jungle Trek. I had remembered falling upon this once, but wanted to do it again as did Tim since this was an undone attraction.

And you thought he took a lot of photos so far...

Tim was enjoying this a lot more then I expected. I was actually quite surprised at how much he was running around and really enjoying himself. And of course, I was having a little fun too...

As we came to the end of our Jungle Trek, we realized it was Everest FP time.

100_4569.jpg

So we headed to Everest and found that we were assigned the front seats. HOLY COW! For not being the biggest Everest enthusiast , I was actually nervous about it. That is a big drop! The ride was really smooth but wow, they really pitch you out of the front of that mountain. Tim loved every minute of it which made me happy. Afterwards, Jennie had arrived to meet up with us and take us to HS. Ahh, the benefits of having a cast member best friend...hehehe. She wandered around with us for a bit, enjoying watching Tim take more photos.

We headed into a few of the stores to look around. Now Tim loved the "Tigger...is that you?" merchandise with Pooh but didn't really want a hat or shirt. I mentioned that there used to be a pin, but we didn't see it offered. We checked all the employee's lanyards in the store but didn't find anything. Finally, one of the cast members mentioned that he thought he saw one that day and that if we wouldn't mind waiting a minute, he would check. We waited about ten minutes..

100_4577.jpg

Success! The cast member came back with the pin and Tim was thrilled! It still remains to be his favorite pin from the whole trip. We took a couple last shots before heading out.

I really like Animal Kingdom, but it's not my number 1. Tim felt the same, although he said it was one of his favorites for photos.

We hopped in Jennie's car and made our way over to Hollywood Studios. This had become Tim's favorite park for attractions and overall feel of the park. Magic Kingdom was his favorite for "that warm and fuzzy feeling". We arrived, caught the tram and headed in. Jen's plan was to stay with us until she had to go to singing practice later in the day. As we entered the park, we walked into the Pixar Block Party Bash heading up the street to the second segment.

At this point, my 13 year old Justin Bieber loving equivalent took over and I grabbed the camera from Tim. I was a woman on a mission and my mission was to see Boo on the side of the street that we weren't on before. I wedged my way through (thank God for being short and small).

And there she was!

100_4592.jpg

She is the cutest thing!

100_4593.jpg

I had so much fun watching her and all Jennie and Tim could do was laugh at me.

100_4595.jpg

How low can you go? Apparently not that low for Boo. This is about as good as it gets for her...SO CUTE!

100_4596.jpg

Tim then jumped in, enabling my cause with his height and got some photos of her as she moved around.

I took a LOT more photos then this. We watched and danced around a bit longer. I waved goodbye to Boo, knowing it was the last time I'd see her during our trip. Then decided it was time for a beverage. Jen and I opted for an iced coffee and Tim grabbed a beer at Min and Bill's Dockside Diner. We had our drinks and then made our way to Indy. I had my mission, and now Tim had his.

We got really good seats for Indy. And as he wanted, he was picked to be a volunteer. He was so excited and so were we! He got to do his evil laugh and then go get changed. Jen and I had cameras ready and took plenty of photos of him and the show.

Tim also got picked to do the death scene which was hilarious. His fellow volunteers really helped it along too and the whole place was cracking up.

100_4654.jpg

By the time it was over and we were leaving the theater, people actually made several comments to him on the way out. It was really funny. As we even made our way over to the pin stop on the corner of Sunset and Hollywood, more folks commented "Oh you're the death scene guy! That was awesome man!" Between that and the costumes from the night before, we were a hit! LOL

So we checked out some more pins but it was time for Jennie to leave us. We mapped out what we wanted to do later as there was EMH hours that night until 12am. We ran down and had another ride on RNRC but then it was dinner time. We made our way into Prime Time, checked in and headed over to the bar area. We knew we wanted a fun cocktail again since the Disney Drink list has some unique choices. As we were looking, we were called for our table. We got to our table, which was small and wedged between two larger parties. I was slightly disappointed as I had kind of wanted one of those ones on the cati-corner with the tv. Like this...

100_4670.jpg

But as I learned a few times on this trip, twos are few and far between so we had some little tables.

100_4674.jpg

We finally got to pick our drinks out. Tim went for the Habanero Lime Margarita that I had been taunting him to get the whole trip and I picked Dad's Electric Lemonade. Both were very yummy!

100_4676.jpg

100_4675.jpg

What was funny to me throughout the trip was that I was rarely carded. I'm in my late twenties but look like I'm 18 when dressed down and not in work clothes. Of all places, I thought for sure I'd be prime target in Disney for carding. Half the time, I had my ID ready to go. I think what doesn't hurt either is that Tim is in his late thirties. I guess they figure he wouldn't be carting around a teenager..lol.

Our waitress was Janice, and she was hilarious. Once again, we opted for an appetizer because we were hungry at this point. We decided on the Onion Rings with Horseradish sauce. They were good, but as we finished them, we knew they were a bad idea. Tim went with the Fried Chicken after hearing how amazing it is and I got the Tuna Casserole. How often do you seen Tuna Casserole on a menu?

100_4679.jpg

100_4680.jpg

Mine had clearly been sitting under the heat lamp for a bit, but it was still very good. The chicken was amazing. We both really enjoyed our meals. I couldn't eat all of the tuna...and I got yelled at for it. Tim got yelled at for having his elbows on the table. For dessert, I went with Smores and he went with the Brownie Sundae.

100_4681.jpg

100_4682.jpg

Both were delicious! Bad part is, Janice then took it upon herself to pack us up two milkshakes to go since we didn't get our included drink by ordering water and cocktails. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal but by the time we left, we were full. This was a horrible case of food coma. I was full, but Tim had hit his limit. Even with all of our plans for the evening, he looked at me like he was going to pass out. "Honey, can I please go back to the room? I can't go anymore". I felt so bad for him. He felt the way I did the night before at the Halloween Party. How could I say no? We made our way out of the park and back to the resort.

I was full and tired but not defeated. I really wanted to get back to DTD to pick up some souvenirs for my nephews and nieces and wander around. I was fine going on my own but Jennie was done her practice and came to pick me up at the Resort.

Tim crashed and we headed out. Jennie was hungry at this point so we went over to Wolfgang's again for her to grab a bite. We talked for a bit and it was so good to catch up with her. She is one of my oldest and dearest friends. Afterwards we wandered around and did some shopping.
