Seems more likely they'd redo the existing Wolfgang Pucks before they opened something new. And I find it hard to believe they'd allow a second top shelf steakhouse right across from the other.

Based on what was actually said, the location was pure speculation, so it may very well be a redo of the existing location.

When they said Walt's was coming to Disney Springs, I always felt it should replace Tony's in the Magic Kingdom instead ... although I like that Tony's pays tribute to Lady and the Tramp

Someone posted on Save Pleasure Island that Walt's is going to instead be Wolfgang Puck's CUT.

Well that's disappointing if true, both for missing out on Walt's and getting slatted with another Puck place. (None of them are bad - there are just to many that are not unique enough to bother with.) Any conformation outside of a comment on Save PI?

A nod to the old pleasure island? I remember coming over on the sassagoula boats from riverside at night and seeing all the dance clubs lit up.

Save pleasure island says it might be a dance club as part of the Edison.

Sure wish we could get some concrete (pun intended, but not that funny?) information about Walt's (or not), Neverland Tunnels (or not), and Edison opening dates. I haven't visited Save PI blog this often since AC closed!

No doubt Disney has done feasibility studies on just this sort of thing.
