At Disneyland at least.
They are throwing hints all over the place.
It's an infamous effect from The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland where the head of a ghost in the attic would disappear from his shoulders only to reappear in his hatbox, and vice versa. It was removed shortly after it opened. Go to this page and scroll down a bit to read all about it: http://www.doombuggies.com/myths2.php
Ah...Maybe the technology of today can help us there.I believe he was removed as there was issues of its position in the attraction allowing guests to see the head on the shoulders even when it was not lit (making the illusion not work correctly).
Well said...BUT...I wouldn't want a carbon copy of the old JII.GIve of something new.JII (the original one) was my favorite attraction at Epcot, and I would love nothing more than to see it restored to a semblance of its old self.
However it's sad that the best we can hope for at Epcot these days is to bring back what should have been there all along. Disney can make money by rebuilding what it never should have destroyed to begin with, rather than investing enough to create legitimate new classics.
Yeah, as much as we all love the original attraction, it would be stale and outdated in today's world. What we need is a new Figment/Dreamfinder attraction that better suits today's world but still retaining the quality and complexity that the original attraction possessed.Well said...BUT...I wouldn't want a carbon copy of the old JII.GIve of something new.

I wouldn't really consider this and 'update' or anything but yesterday John Lasseter, Jim mcphee and several other creative execs did ride on journey into imagination and john seemed to be talking jim's ear off before during and especially after going on it together.
Source information? :lookaroun
Not that I find this hard to believe, I'm just curious to hear what you've heard... Mostly because the report I was given was somewhat different.
Not really. It fits like a glove. Head-chopping Bride. dissapering heads in the portraits and the spot where the old Bride was is vacant.:animwink:Ah. That explains it. Sounds cool, but if it was going into WDW's HM I figured I would have heard about it. Hopefully they'll get it to work correctly, although personally I see it as out of place in the new attic scene. But we shall see.
Enuuuuuumeration, enuuuumeration....A rumor can be a rumor come true....with just that typing from me to you!:lol::lookaroun
Honey, what have you been smoking and can you please pass it to the right...?:lol::lol:
I just totally cracked up reading that.
I am high on EPCOT Center.

:lookaroun OK then can you please pass EPCOT Center to the right?
