The Dreamfinder rumor, from a slightly different source...

Just because some people say its coming on a message board doesnt make it official.

Anthony Daniels said it was coming soon back in 2006 but if you go in the WDWmagic news archive you will see quotes from Jake Llyod back in 1999/2000 saying it was coming soon!

Don't forget that ILM referred to ST2 in a recent interview with a legitimate magazine, but I forgot which magazine it was.

You make a great point about the refurb schedules. As far as I know, none of the dates have been set in stone yet. Even the Space Mt. refurb, which HAS to happen because of ride safety, has been moved around a few times.

Rumors are fun to read, but I put no stock in any of them. There's really no such thing as "inside" information, as things can change at the drop of a hat. Heck, Disney didn't even get their own plans right for World Showcase, and they put out all sorts of info on Equatorial Africa, Spain, and Israel.

Besides, I wouldn't be too excited about a re-hashed JIYI with Dreamfinder. It'd be like a slap in my childhood memories.

Don't forget the Switzerland pavilion with the new Matterhorn.

You make a good point, even if it is a little cynical. ;)

Things do change VERY quickly—plans get dropped or postponed all the time.

Disney's been teasing us with Dreamfinder stuff for the last few years. They've at least been poking around at stuff in the pavilion. It definitely has higher chances of coming out sooner then Star Tours 2.

Also, insert Gurren Lagann lines such as "Who the hell do you think I am?" and "Zero percent chances are more like 100 percent to me!"

Don't believe in Dreamfinder! Believe in the Dreamfinder that I believe in!

Seriously, good to know there's someone else on Team Dai-Gurren here!
:D

(I don't think anyone else will get it though.)

(Inserts more quotes...like when people talk about the unstoppable EpcotServo, I'M THE ONE THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT!)

ROW ROW FIGHT DA POWAH!

I've actually drawn a Figment version of the "Bro is Dead" speech.

I'm not sure I'd categorize it as cynical. Maybe realistic. ;)

Doesn't anyone think it's pretty odd that out of the thousands of people that are Disney fans, there's only a handful of people that claim to have "inside" information on what's going to happen? I know people that are in management at the parks, and they don't even know until the project actually happens.

Like I said, I put no faith in people with "inside" info, there's too much going on behind the scenes that even if they did know, it may change without their knowledge. I enjoy reading their posts, but I don't take them too seriously.

Even if this doesn't lead to any return of the Dreamfinder in the actual attraction, this pin is a HUGE nod to the fans. Kudos to Disney.
