The Dreamfinder rumor, from a slightly different source...

Good to hear about the timeframe.
Now I just hope they cough up enough cash to keep the scope of the refurb as HUGE as I last heard.

Considering how vague I'm purposefully being, your comment almost drips of sarcasm... ;)

~By the way~Work on the Imagination pavilion is progressing nicely and should happen sooner rather than later. Jedimaster would probably be able to say more.

Yep. Minor things are being done around the pavilion for prep work and systems testing. Imageworks upstairs has had a couple of uses lately, but I won't go there just yet. In general, it all depends on where the budget stands at this point. I've heard some postives and some negatives, so I'm waiting to hear which of them are accurate.

And so are we...;)Thanks for the update.

Hey... wasn't the KPWSA (Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure) finale in the upstairs levels of Imagineworks? And isn't the KPWSA doing test runs? And if you said they are testing it to see if it works or not...

QUICK! Somebody get to EPCOT so they can get pictures of floor 2!

The Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure will take place entirely within the World Showcase (as far as I know). The finale was placed in Imageworks just for the test and will not be situated there considering that the pavilion itself is preparing for a long period of downtime during its refurbishment.

I'm going to say it right now, but this is pretty much the ONLY thing I'm looking forward too as far as future WDW projects goes. And once it finally sets into motion, I'm going to hit some insane state of euphoria and will probably Giga Drill Breaker those that still complain about it when it opens...

I would just chill dude this project will probably never see the light of day. We've been hearing about this since 2006 and we have been hearing about Star Tours 2 since 1998 (TEN YEARS!). Disney feels they are in a position where they can stagnate and still have boatloads of people show up and give all there money to them.

When they eventually do replace the Imagination pavillion in like 2030 it will be probably be replaced by a store or a cartoon tie-in.

Disney's been teasing us with Dreamfinder stuff for the last few years. They've at least been poking around at stuff in the pavilion. It definitely has higher chances of coming out sooner then Star Tours 2.

Also, insert Gurren Lagann lines such as "Who the hell do you think I am?" and "Zero percent chances are more like 100 percent to me!"

Star Tours 2 has been pretty much confirmed at this point.

I'm already aware of the Anthony Daniels/C-3PO stuff they shot earlier, and some testing they've done in the old Body Wars pods, but not so much on the installation of the new ride film itself...

So really, they might actually end up opening rather close to each other...

Just because some people say its coming on a message board doesnt make it official.

Anthony Daniels said it was coming soon back in 2006 but if you go in the WDWmagic news archive you will see quotes from Jake Llyod back in 1999/2000 saying it was coming soon!
