At my house, every day is dog day! Took Jasmine out for a walk around 6 this morning, to beat the heat. Now she is napping.

Oh boy... things are getting weird in here! Awkward silence.
32 days until Vegas!
Haven’t had this issue with our dogs. Maybe it is a breed thing?
I'd forgotten that we have more than one pet named Jasmine on this thread. At my house, every day is dog day! Took Jasmine out for a walk around 6 this morning, to beat the heat. Now she is napping.

Good luck and I hope they have everything sorted out before thenYup, but I have to go back to school next Tuesday. It's not really clear how things are going to be set up yet (Hopefully they'll tell us more then). I believe I don't have any actual classes until the week after that.
I hope the winds fizzle out as well and you don't lose power. I always said I was inland enough until SandyThanks Figgy, we should be fine...!!!
As I've posted before, most hurricanes are just rain events by the time they get to us here in Austin.
Most models are showin' it goin' up the Texas/Louisiana state line, but, others are showin' it on a more westerly track.
People from the Houston, Galveston, etc., area are evacuating up this way again, as we have shelters ready here.
A lot of people from NOLA, and other hard hit parts of Louisiana, actually relocated here after Katrina.
I hope your dwifey's family that lives around Houston will stay safe. Thanks Figgy, we should be fine...!!!
