At my house, every day is dog day! Took Jasmine out for a walk around 6 this morning, to beat the heat. Now she is napping.

Haven’t had this issue with our dogs. Maybe it is a breed thing?

Maybe. I remember when mom was breeding schnauzers when we were young she would always have the vet snip the dew claws when the tails got docked. So maybe I just think it needs to be done.

OMGee... speaking of puppies.. I met THE cutest puppy on Sunday... it's a Cavapoo, or a Cavoodle. Cavalier and poodle.

Yup, but I have to go back to school next Tuesday. It's not really clear how things are going to be set up yet (Hopefully they'll tell us more then). I believe I don't have any actual classes until the week after that.

As I've posted before, most hurricanes are just rain events by the time they get to us here in Austin.
Most models are showin' it goin' up the Texas/Louisiana state line, but, others are showin' it on a more westerly track.
People from the Houston, Galveston, etc., area are evacuating up this way again, as we have shelters ready here.
A lot of people from NOLA, and other hard hit parts of Louisiana, actually relocated here after Katrina.

We are staying at the Aria... I haven't been in about 25 years, and Scott has never been. Right now, All Bar and clubs are closed, but we are not those type of partiers anyway. We do have Tickets for the Jabberwockeez (they were on america's got talent and world of dance) but that could get cancelled.. For my birthday we are going to Hell's Kitchen for Lunch. We also plan on going to the Neon Graveyard (where neon signs go to live forever) and most likely the Mob museum. One of the mornings we are going to take a ride out to the Valley of Fire. A canyon-esc place about an hour away. Other than that, we will just be casino hopping to gamble.
