Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
Yikes. That doesn't look good, but you said you didn't even notice at first? 🤦‍♀️ (Thank goodness for DWifey coming to the rescue.) ;)

Has the dew claw been much of an inconvenience for Ranger Danger? Our previous dog had one, and I "think" it was removed, because she kept getting it caught on things and it would bleed. It was a long time ago, but I vaguely recall the vet may have removed it. (Maybe it just depends on the dog.)
Dew claws are generally removed when the breeders take them to the vet for their very first check up and First vaccinations. They slide out at that point as not firmly rooted. Crudely explained to me as a before or later circumcise a new pborn or wait till they are mid fifties Kinda now or never kinda choice.

The problem is that most unwanted litters are deposited at shelters prior to first vet visits and vaccines. The dew claws are usually ignored. Whatever purpose they might have served before Pups were domesticated is gone. All of my Pups a Springer, Shepard, 2 Goldens and Walter the yellow lab had all had their dew claws removed prior to me purchasing them.

We were able to find those this spring and we enjoyed them too. I thought they were better than the other mickey ice cream treats like the premium bar, which is a little surprising for me because I don't normally like ice cream sandwiches.

Bingo. I wanted the regular Mickey bars, too (to try those out), but the store was out. So, I found this one box of ice cream sandwiches (which I also would not normally buy), but decided to try them. They use a lower fat ice cream, and at 180 calories, that's not too bad -- compared to other ice cream selections in the market.

I hope your dwifey's family that lives around Houston will stay safe.
Weather channel talking about storm strengthening to a Cat 4 ! My friends in Houston are preparing. I lived through a Cat 3 many years ago in FL hiding in a closet away from windows with my ex at the time while the storm outside just felt like an atomic bomb. When the storm passed it was a sight to see with all the destruction around.

Yes this storm is nothing to fool around with --looks like it will be a cat 4 or 3 when it makes land fall. Having gone through hurricane Hugo which was a cat 4 borderline cat 5 we had a 17 foot storm surge where the boat landing is, where my house was we had 5' of seawater in the house, huge pine trees were snapped off like tooth picks. If your area is on septic tanks the tanks overflowed sewage everywhere. We had no power for 2 months all the lines (poles snapped) to our area had to be replace. It was 6 months before we could get back into our house. If you are in the path of Laura heed the evacuation orders get out.

Some of the things we encountered was numerous power lines down, electrical sparks touching down in many puddles where some residents lost their lives being electrocuted and the gators and many many snakes that came out and were crawling in the grass and outside the nearby lakes.

YIKES! Sandy was no cakewalk. I made out ok just power out for a week and some minor cleanup. My step brother wound up with a tree on his house, no power for a month and one friend wound up with house in Atlantic wound up having to move in with ex with new wife.

Today's random topic from Steve:
I like when I turn on my Mazda it instantly displays the total current mileage.
I hate when I turn on my wife's Honda ( which I seldom do) to find out her current mileage and it does NOT say her current mileage.
It says: "Trip A"....then I push the skinny display changer thingee and it says "Trip B", then I push push it again and it says: "Oil Life 60%"
For the life of me this morning I couldn't make her car just display the total current mileage
(Without her knowing, I just tried for a couple of minutes before she had to go to work. I didn't want her to know I couldn't figure it out. I'll try again Saturday morning because she always sleeps waaayyyy longer than me on Sat. mornings)

😀 maybe tell the boys you heard nail polish stays fresher in the freezer and label the box nail salon supplies. I’m assuming they don’t do their nails like you so they’ll stay out!😎
Thnx and drat! The boys already know where my nails supplies are because they're in an organizer in my craft area and they've had to bring them to me because of my ankle situation. James aced advanced chemistry so he know what should and shouldn't be frozen:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
