Have had Golden Retrieves for many years and milk bones and dental sticks seem to keep their teeth clean. As a matter of fact not one of my retrievers has had false teeth or dental implants. Come to think may be i should have been chewing milk bones or dental sticks all these years I wouldn't be going through a dental implant now.

I brush my dog’s teeth once a week. And then his groomer does it once a month. I do a little bit deeper cleaning once a year, at the vet.

This was recommended to me when Reilly was a puppy, but it might vary by breed.

My kids gave me a couple of very nice bottles of wine at Christmas. I did uncork one of them on Friday when it was just too dangerous to leave. Now the weather guys are threatening us with round two...starting Thursday into Friday and Saturday.

My son will be down for a convention in Chicago ON THE LAKE FRONT (where the bike paths were destroyed by 15 foot waves crashing onto Lake Shore Drive last weekend) Again they are saying Snow, ice, rain, snow, ice, rain and repeat for the upcoming end of the week.

Is he currently a 12th grader?
I have two 12th grade grandsons who are expected to go off to higher education next fall. I can tell it is worrisome by the lines forming in my daughters faces. I, however, went through all that over 20 years ago except I had two daughters and a wife attending college all at the same time. I was in Vermont, one in Boston, one in Colorado Springs and one in New Orleans. I'm living proof that it is survivable.
I do have a serious twitch in my left eye though.🥴

Oh my goodness. What a nightmare, especially for the girls!!!!

How many teammates are leaving? Is your daughter upset?

I can’t believe how this was handled by all involved. :(.
No one is leaving the teams, so that is good. The parents involved were going to leave at first, but the fired coaches said that that would be wrong. Those families will go to the new gym next season. It is about 7 families. I just hope that they behave decently the rest of the season. DD's first practice back since the fiasco is tonight. So, let's see how people behave. My guess is the parents will continue sectioning themselves off from others.

@93boomer and @MySmallWorldof4 ....how is it going with your 12th graders as we all approach getting our teenagers in a good position for checking all the boxes and jumping through all the hoops asked of us be the college(s) our kids will attend as freshman?
Well we paid her acceptance fee as soon as she got in in November. Last I looked at the financial aid page, the school didn't have the FAFSA info yet. I did tell myself that I need to look by the end of this month. I know that tuition needs to be paid in full prior to the start of fall classes.
