Yum! I’m with you on looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner. One of my students ta asked me yesterday what I was looking forward to over the break and I said eating stuffing and mashed potatoes!
My mom is making chorizo stuffing and double baked mashed potatoes. Yum.
The other dishes..... I'm not so found about. Broccoli and carrot casserole. I mostly don't like my vegetables cooked all the way

I think back to a few years ago, when you couldn't stand the turkey platter that your (aunt?, grandmother?) had. It was something about the design of the plate that you thought was lame. I still crack up over that, to this day!![]()
He said it looked incredible!I'm not familiar with that. If you are willing, show your husband the photo I posted and tell me what he says![]()
Roasted with garlic and some salt is my favorite way actually.Speaking of veggies that others hate and I like, I went to the farmers market with a friend that needed a "big ole mess of greens" (of the collard variety, which I hate) for Thanksgiving dinner and I bought a small package of Brussel Sprouts that seems to be universally hated. I had never purchased them fresh, just frozen and partially cooked (blanched I think). I saw some interesting recipes on Google, but the one that caught my eye was roasted with garlic. Has anyone have a favorite recipe for Sprouts they would like to share?
Looks like the best movie of the year
My Mom makes broccoli casserole.chorizo stuffing might be interesting. I don’t think I would care for the broccoli casserole either. But I don’t like broccoli, carrots would be ok though.
Lightly drizzled with evoo, a sprinkle of salt, a dash or 2 of pepper and an extremely light dusting of onion and garlic powder then roasted until lightly brownedSpeaking of veggies that others hate and I like, I went to the farmers market with a friend that needed a "big ole mess of greens" (of the collard variety, which I hate) for Thanksgiving dinner and I bought a small package of Brussel Sprouts that seems to be universally hated.
