Lightly drizzled with evoo, a sprinkle of salt, a dash or 2 of pepper and an extremely light dusting of onion and garlic powder then roasted until lightly browned
Option 2 Satuee some chopped bacon until just starting to brown then add halved or sliced sprouts and cook until desired softness
Option 3 whip egg whites until frothy, coat sprouts then dredge in flour of your choice(corn starch gives a light tempura like feel) and spices of your choice then deep fry 350 degrees until lightly browned. If I use corn starch I serve with a dipping sauce of equal parts aminos or soy sauce and rice wine vinegar with a bit of finely chopped fresh ginger and a bit of stevia or sugar to taste. The dipping sauce tastes best if you let it sit for at least an hour but even better overnight in the fridge
Do you need any more ideas to get you started?
No I'm good, thanks for the suggestions. With the exception of "Option 3" which would require me to be able to understand what language you typed that in. That's because I only was able to identify every other word, but since I have no item to deep fry in or enough oil to do it even if I did, I will skip that one and concentrate on the first two.

One question though, with Option one, instead of onion or garlic powder, is it possible to use the actual items. I've got a garlic bulb, (I keep it mostly to keep vampires away) and maybe some onions chopped fine or scallions? I was thinking about slicing the garlic fine and sauteing them with the Sprouts.

The viewing of our old friend went about as well as can be expected. His parents were taking it really hard...even when you’re as old as they are you don’t want to be burying one of your children...he actually was a decent man, but, just couldn’t shake those demons. :(

But, last night was AWESOME seein’ so many ol’ friends again for the surprise 60th birthday party of one of ‘em...!!!!!!! :joyfull:
Some pics, and the first one is after I ate my first 2 fajitas and just went back for more beef...also, the lame pic of the car is a restored ‘66 ‘Stang with a 289...!!!!!!! :joyfull::hilarious::happy:View attachment 428258View attachment 428260View attachment 428261View attachment 428262View attachment 428263View attachment 428264View attachment 428265

I would roast the sprouts separately. Sauté the garlic and onion in a pan and then toss with the sprouts. You can even add a little balsamic vinegar and honey to the pan after the garlic and onions have cooked a little bit. Don’t burn the garlic. Then toss it all together.

Our weekend-

Friday- T had basketball Basketball practice at 4:30, straight to a teammate’s house for pizza party afterwards.
Then, was picked up by another parent at 6:30 to head to another friend’s birthday party at a trampoline park from 7-9.

Saturday- Soccer game and Basketball game.

Today- 2 soccer games, in different locations.

This evening- Winterfest at KI with 3 of his soccer teammates and parents. We’re going ice skating and possibly a Rollercoaster in the freezing cold 😬

I think we’ll both be ready for bed as soon as we get home tonight.lol

My kid has more of a social life than I do right now. 🤣
That is a heck of a busy weekend. Hope the games went well.

T certainly does have quite the active sports and social calendar, doesn't he?! ;) Oh, the Winterfest sounds like great fun. Let us know how that turned out.

My dad changed his Christmas decorating schedule. He decided to take down the blow up thanksgiving turkey outside. My younger brother and I helped him put up the Christmas decorations outside. It took over 3 hours. We had test if the decorations are lighting up properly. We had to a bunch wiring considering the amount of plug in outdoor decorations outside.

My dad even has a blow up snowman that feels cold.

My dad did that because it was 50 degrees outside and the weather is not going to be pretty coming up with the weather conditions of rain and snow along with it not able to hit 40 next weekend without rain.
