Woke up at 5:30 this morning as boss called me in to open for a sick coworker. Knew person was sick so I kind of expected it. The other dishwasher was supposed to arrive at 9:00 so I could jump off bussing and into dish. Well, 9:30 rolls around, then 9:40. No second dishwasher. He shows up at 1O to drop a note off saying he had a wedding pop up for 12 today and couldn't work, then leaves. Grrr. I hate people sometimes

Yes, awake a tad bit early here today, but it's because I "inherited" a lousey head cold from hubs! So with turning the clocks back last night, it's not even 4 AM yet.

And yes, dog is sound asleep as usual.

Yea for @ajrwdwgirl -- a planned trip to WDW in March! You mentioned 2 vouchers for Delta -- so, are these free flights for the both of you, too?! Any thoughts yet on where you might like to stay?

It's official we are going to WDW in March. Just bought the flights tonight. EEK! I had to do two separate transactions though, we both had a voucher on Delta and it wouldn't let me use both to buy both of our tickets in one transaction. It didn't make me mad to do the two transactions it was just a little weird.

Yay for you guys! March is only 5 months away.

Sorry about the cold, I hope you feel better soon. I’m up early for the time change, but the dog is snuggling so nicely I don’t want to get up yet.

I wish the vouchers from Delta had been free flight but they were only $25 (each), but it still helped take some money off the flight price. We were booked at Art of Animation but some discounts came out and didn’t apply to Art, so now we are staying at the Pop. We would like to be on the Skyliner this trip. We are also coming in two days before that to visit with my dad one day and see something else, like maybe Bok Tower gardens before the Pop stay. We don’t have a hotel yet for those two days.

The good news the guys are going to grandma's house to do chores for her today so I get the house to myself for a couple of hours
The bad new is I will be spending the whole time cooking, such is my life. The yogury is already on and is is the smoked ham and bean soup

So ironic to me that you posted that because I had a dream that we found out that a necklace I had was worth between 6 and 7 million dollars! Wish that dream was real.

@21stamps if it make you feel better the clock on my stove is always wrong because if the lights so much as flicker it goes to 12 but the oven stays on unless the power is out for more than a minute or 2 I never bother to reset it at this point

I am going to be making tomato soup, a lasagna, and a veggie loaf today.

I'm also making a rice and beans dish(just have to figure out what flavor profile) and am going to try and can up applesauce. Somebody thought it was a good idea to buy more apples yesterday

It's finally turned cold here--- well for coastal SC its cold 40 degrees. Going to try and talk the wife into making a pot of clam chowder have the clams and broth in the freezer just love either New England or Manhattan clam chowder. Wish me luck Ha Ha
