It's finally turned cold here--- well for coastal SC its cold 40 degrees. Going to try and talk the wife into making a pot of clam chowder have the clams and broth in the freezer just love either New England or Manhattan clam chowder. Wish me luck Ha Ha

I'm not sure which is which (without looking it up ) and (and I live here) :joyfull::joyfull:

I like creamy clam chowder. Never really had red. Between red or creamy, the answer is always creamy. I never had Rhode Island chowder which is apparently clear. :jawdrop:

This kid. 🤦‍♀️

“T, you excited for your game? Think you’re going to get another hat trick today?”

“Mom. I’m playing girls today. I hate playing girls.”

“Why?”

“Because I can’t push them or be aggressive, that’s why we lost last time against girls.”

“What? Do you think girls are made of glass? Those girls pushed all over you. You play against girls the same way you play against boys. They’re tough. They don’t need you to act like they’ll break.”

“It’s not nice to push a girl, mom.”

“T. Stop. You’re on a soccer pitch. Play soccer. The girls are just as tough if not tougher than every boy on your team.”

This kid has a mom and an aunt who both love sports and get out there and play sports. His aunt still plays on a team with men. Where is he getting this from?

They tied 1-1. The girls were so aggressive. T was getting pushed all over the place and did not get aggressive til the second half. Most of the boys were similar. They did this in outdoor friendlies too. Some of the moms were yelling “X pretend it’s your sister” 😂
My brother definitely didn’t treat me like a “girl” when we were growing up... sounds like the same for other siblings too.lol

@21stamps if it make you feel better the clock on my stove is always wrong because if the lights so much as flicker it goes to 12 but the oven stays on unless the power is out for more than a minute or 2:hilarious: I never bother to reset it at this point
My computer and Cable are the only things that change automatically for me. The stove, microwave, alarm clock and wall clock in my office area are changed by the magic of me. I also have an amazing watch. It was given to me as a birthday gift from a girlfriend that I had at the time. It has been running now, solar powered, for the last 15 years and has never lost a second in time. It can't because it adjusts itself via some random signal from some random place every evening. In spite of all that magic, I still have to manually put on "daylight savings" and take it off again in the fall. My car also requires a one step change which takes a massive 4 seconds to do.
