We do what you do now. Pretty much eat on the fly. I may book one table service and then after we eat and look at the bill, and see how little the kids ate, we're like, why did we eat here? In the heat also down there, we eat less. Sometimes a kid will just want a pretzel for a meal, so going to a full service is a waste. Even if it was just dh and I, I think we would do the same thing. Plus, it gives us more options like eating outside the bubble. ;)

I like how you reference eating outside the bubble. There are tons of restaurants very close by, and many of them have reasonable prices. If you have a car down there and just want to take a break from the bubble, it's nice to go outside of the parks, and see/experience other options.

You were up pretty early today @figmentfan423 . More thunderstorms by you? I got up at 4 and just couldn't go back to sleep. Then one of the dogs started whining, and I didn't want anyone else to wake up, so I just came downstairs to let the dogs out. Of course I am wide awake now with a fully scheduled day ahead of me.

I used to not be like that, and exclusively need to stay in the bubble, but over the last few years, I realized there was more to the area then just Disney. We loved Chuy's, and most of us loved Sweet Tomatoes. The prices were incredible as well, especially for a family of 6. Giordano's has great Chicago style pizza, as far as our taste buds can tell.;)

I must be the only person who goes to a Disney buffet and leaves saying we got our money's worth:banghead: Eating outside the bubble even at UNI is cheaper:joyfull:

Not really. Sometimes I log in here and have a cup of coffee before my workout and sometimes I do that first.

In you case it would work out. I'm vegan, we prefer appetizers to deserts and we don't always eat together so it would never work for us. anyhoo I remember you saying you still may have to go out of pocket a couple of times if you do a few 2 credit meals so maybe you should still look into discounted gift cards for those and for paying off your trip. Happy planning

Yes, that's definite a good idea if I can't work it out with the credits I have. Plus we order groceries for breakfast.
